    Good evening,

    Realized something at work that made me feel like the "dummy" light came on, on my computer. I have no idea why but I realized I can cut/paste part of my process which would save time and wear and tear on my eyes/fingers. In the end I am glad I figured it out now instead of not at all. I wanted to put a picture of a lightbulb in my cubicle but I didnt want to explain it so better not.

    Half of week done. Plowing on towards the weekend.

    Day 700 something of ridiculous excuses! Not going to lie Ive been completely off my game and I do have a couple justifiable reasons for falling off track. However I keep trying to restart and just haven't gotten there. So today I'm taking advantage of this group and another one for some motivation to get back again.

    Went to bed last night way early so I actually got 9 hours of sleep, normally I'm lucky to get 6.5. logged my breakfast and planning a salad for lunch with a friend. I drink plenty of water so hydrating isn't my problem. Also setting an alarm for a workout in the afternoon. I used to get a 3 mile walk in most days, but one of those reasons made walking no fun anymore. I have a gym membership and pretty much any gym equipment in my basement that one would need so no more excuses. Need to also focus on having better snacks ready after work because that's my downfall.

    Morning yoga done! Prepping snacks after I get a 2 mile walk in. Chicken salad and some fruits and veggies.

    Late to post, had trouble getting in earlier.

    Getting better food in me, not entirely, but better than the last week.

    Got my 5k and kitchen counter push ups in, so adding more to my exercise.

    Good morning all~~

    Boy, yesterday's walk felt harder to do than usual. Then I looked at my watch: we did it in 50 minutes instead of our usual 65 minutes. It was cold out there, so we were hustling along. No wonder I felt like collapsing at the end.

    Hi. On Sunday I restarted my weight loss journey. I originally joined in 2012 and lost 50 pounds. I have gained back 25 of those 50. After several unsuccessful restarts, I am finally committing to getting the weight off. I take insulin and several other medications and I want to get off them asap. I am not getting any younger and I want my thinner, active life back again. We all have a finite time on this planet and I want what time I have left to be the best it can be.

    Lana - yes I am lucky enough to have a 4 day weekend. So many jobs I had to work Friday as I was the only one "without family".

    Wearing sweater and considering something warm to drink. Scale is still high but I will walk a lot this weekend to keep from becoming a couch potato.

    Went to two stores, have the making for Chex mix (work stocking presents) -had Mongolian Beef and watched World Cup soccer on a huge screen.

    Have almost 4k on pedometer and will make sure to get to 5k.

    I will not be retailing tomorrow so I might clean the kitchen/bathroom floors - so I can tell people something when they ask what I did this weekend. Hahahaha.

    okay that was yesterdays not sent message

    Slept off and on until 1pm today, got up found small plastic Christmas tree walked to work, walked home 2k so far. Most of my to do is done - we shall see if cleaning floors is too ambitious or not. I found MTM season 3 so it is nice to just watch good tv.

    My neighbors upstairs are not here so they also dont wake me up!!!! Giving thanks.

    I dont usually get to brag, but I finished my to do list. I also cleaned the kitchen and bathroom floor. Amazing how much better one feels after those are done.
