Fresh crisp green beans sautéed in olive oil with lots of garlic, sliced almonds, and a bit of salt. That’s how you eat green beans 😃

My grandma and moms always have a jar of left over bacon grease in the fridge - thus I do too - it’s a nice little flavor enhancer - give it a try1 -

Also, let’s talk about people who clean out the fridge and throw away the bacon fat you were saving and also the lemon simple syrup that you’ve made four times now because people keep throwing it away1 -

I steam the green beans then throw
(the throwing part is important, lol)
them in a skillet with a little hot bacon grease and small cut onions.
Sauté them for just a couple min.
Yummm-y 😋😀3 -

That’s a real place? I have never been there
Oh it’s real. And my daughter wrote a paper on it. And I quote: “And on a birthday they put you on a saddle which is very fun.”
I don’t think this mentioned all the animal heads on the walls. Which, during a field trip there, we were told were fake because real ones would be cruel.

I remember walking home from school in winter, it would be raining and cold. I actually liked it, I'd be wringing wet and shivering and go straight to the shower when I got home. That warm shower was the best. 😄6

Your eyes are limpid pools of desire and shopping lists1 -
I remember being with my Dad at the hospital during his final days. He was on large amounts of painkillers, hadn't moved or spoke a word for 4 straight days.
My uncle walked in to visit him...hadn't seen or spoken to him in years, but death will usually bring a family together.
We started reminiscing about my Dad's childhood. My Dad started flailing his arms and trying to sit up when he heard his brother's voice. We weren't exactly sure if he was upset or just wanted to be in on the conversation, but I'll never unsee that moment.
It was then I believed that your hearing is definitely the last thing to go. Talk to your loved ones, they hear you. ♥️7 -
I remember when I was a kid- my mom, sis, and I would enjoy an awesome thansgiving dinner and hen wuld get in the car and visit all my aunts.3

I remember howling at the moon every time I saw a full moon as a kid. Admittedly, I still do but it’s usually under my breath bc the world can’t know I am like this… a…. beast! Rawr uwu
Anyway, it’s toasty in here and I’m consuming toast
delectable
Respectable
I also remember eating carrots like a bunny and my siblings and I would race each other for who could nibble the fastest. 🤦🏻♀️ And of course the obligatory bugs bunny “what’s up doc?”
Space jam changed my life3 -

I remember driving down a country road clear dark night when I spotted the moon being full and bigger than I had ever seen it before and it seemed to be a beckon asking me to follow it as it moved across the sky. I actually did just drive in it's direction for a while, keeping it pretty much as forward as roadways allowed. As I did, I wondered where I would end up if I just continued to drive that way until the moon set.1

I remember getting on the bus at the bus station downtown at midnight.
I remember the bus stopped at every tiny town along the way.
I remember sitting by myself in the Dallas bus station at 4:00am waiting for the bus to Houston.
I remember getting off the bus in Houston and seeing my boyfriend waiting for me.
I remember when his dad discovered I was there and called my parents.
I remember flying home.
I remember marrying that boy and having a son and now grandchildren.

Yes. When I was in Elementary school I read a book called cute is a four letter word and it was about a girl named Clara who decided to have year of the Clara and she became a cheerleader or something and then dated the Jock and she had a cousin named Halcyon who looked like a model on her day off2 -
