    Some time ago I read an article that questioned WHY we who celebrate Thanksgiving always overeat on that day. It’s a valid question. Can’t you eat those foods ANY DAY? The only one I only fix for Thanksgiving that I don’t make other times of the year is the turkey. (My DH isn’t a fan) Gorging on that wouldn’t be disastrous. Just FOOD FOR THOUGHT. 😋

    Hi, this is my first time trying this. I think the daily weighing will help me to stay motivated.
    About me, I'm a 36 year old mom of 2. After my second, the weight just started to creep up.
    I'm ready to get it back under control and work towards being healthier.

    SW: 263.2 lbs
    GW: 261.0 lbs - this is only my second week back and I had a big loss in my first week so I'm a little skeptical I'll lose 2.2 lbs in 10 days, but I'm going to give it my all!

    @evonday yes, childcare and school are certainly double-edged swords! We've been so sick for the past year and a half of daycare, ugh. Whenever we're in the thick of it I wonder if it would be better for one of us to quit our jobs!

    Same goal this round as last; to lose a pound. No binges, keep within limits.
    Achieved goal weigh of 125lb in summer 2016 by losing 66lb and then gradually gained between 7 and 11 since then & didn't want to gain any more, It's took me 75 rounds to achieve my under 130 target; back to maintenance again!! But then I crept up again, so need to get back under 130. Healthy life style has to be a permanent way of life.

    I got care free in maintenance and the scale went up one lb at a time. Now I’m turning it around one lb at a time.

    9/12/22- 185lbs

    11/23- 181
    11/24- 181.4 so DH was in charge of making a light dinner last night. I came home to find he had made NACHOS. 😂
    I turned mine into a nacho salad and to be fair he did use chicken…
    My holiday will kick off at the gym!

    Ditto here!! I feel for you. I babysit my two grandchildren M-F and I catch everything they bring home from school. I've never had so many colds before..lol!!

    @evonday and @pezhed Those colds we had as children help our bodies build an immune system. While the kids may be fussy and have a few crummy days, they will be stronger in the long run.

    @pezhed Your very welcome. Please please put them where the cat and children can't get near them. They are powerful jaws on them. Don't worry, the mice will find them with the bait. I use a bit of peanut butter. They can be a pain to reset. Just keep shaking them down so the latches are in the right place and presto! It becomes easy to reset. Good luck and Happy Thanksgiving!
