Yes I was told that you should be able to *kitten* in complete sentences but not be able to sing your bitching. And then some crazy runners told me that you should be able to sing while you’re running but I think they might have been in a cult

Now I am picturing you carrying a tune in a literal galvanized steel bucket & as you run it slops out over the sides serenading the countryside. Too imaginative for mfp probably

Poetry travels on the air, melody is like water, & don’t get me started on rhythm

I feel a deep need to have a dog.
I’ve been without one for yrs now and I can’t stand it anymore.
I need to get my backyard fence fixed and adopt a dog. ❤️1 -

I did not know all the complicated things my job would require & I didn’t receive adequate (any) training before there was a major shakeup to the organization & now people call me & expect me to know what they’re talking about & I’m kind of figuring it out as I go but I always feel just a little inadequate & behind2

it will not work here. Too cheap.
When I was trying to find someone to reinstall my kitchen after all the work several places told me up front, "If you are not going to spend at least $150k on your kitchen, hang up now you cannot afford us."2 -

Well that’s an irritating attitude! 🤨
I think the idea behind the $10,000. house is for the homeless, basically.2 -
How so many generations have no idea what it's like to fall asleep on the phone with their bf/gf. Falling asleep while texting probably doesn't hit the same1

So Adam Rich died and there's a pic of him on yahoo and, uh, there's a resemblance to Kyle Rittenhouse.
Also, my feet are wet from going to get my afternoon diet coke in the rain and I forgot my credit card but they're cool since I'm there practically every day anyway and I was so desperate for food I ate an apple leftover from our christmas gifts from clients.
At least the See's candy is gone!1 -

I was just reading this thread on Quora on how the young'ins don't know what a rotary phone is or how to wind a watch or anything else us seasoned adults grew up with.0
