LOL my boss and I got sick at the same time and every time he coughs, I feel the need to cough but I'm irked mine is so weak when he really sounds sick!

On this current project, I'm working alongside someone I wouldn't normally choose. We were contracted separately and told we were handling different parts of the same job. Even though we are equals, she's acting as if she's in charge (telling me what time to come in, even though I have a schedule I'm perfectly capable of reading, and frequently reminding me about our file management process, even though she's the one that keeps forgetting to move files when she's working on them). Frankly, she's adequate but not great at her job, so I'm having to pick up the slack. I was supposed to leave Thursday morning but I changed my flight to a red eye tomorrow. It can't come fast enough. (I think if I was getting more sleep I'd be more patient.) Vent over7

I’m irked that I have to go out of my way again and get another hearing test done when I got it done with all the rest of my paperwork the two months before my birthday like requested bc they can’t process anything in a timely manner. Well they wanted it done in my birth month which is long gone and they’re threatening me with a level which is a bad thing. It’s a entire hassle to get it done because I can’t do it at any convenient time for me bc they would be at lunch. We are a 24 hr operation and I don’t know why the office people only work 8-4:30. They should have someone in these roles 24hrs a day like the rest of us. Why do I have to waste my gas, time to do something for work that I already got done and had to make two trips last time????? I’m livid5

My unfulfilling, dead-end job is pretty irksome.
So are the waves of stomach pain caused by eating something that’s never caused me pain before. So my safety net of foods that I know won’t trigger IBS flare ups? Yeah, that safety net is gone. Six months of hard work and a ton of dietary/lifestyle changes to manage the symptoms, and I still have no control 😞6 -

Glad this job is over. We had mice in the tent yesterday (one ran under my computer bag).... they took our lunch order at 11am, but it didn't show up until 3 o'clock. Today, just before things started, the skies opened up and we were gifted with a torrential downpour. Water started coming up through the bottom of the temporary floor and I was pulling power cables up onto chairs so they wouldn't get wet. We joked that we had vermin... famine.... and the flood... in a span of 24 hours.6
