It was exciting to see an impressive amount of bars on my report...even though many were short. I had a few "gaps" which indicated I had taken more than a day off. Gradually, my bars have been getting higher and there are fewer big gaps.
When I checked my 30 day report at the end of the day yesterday, I was so proud of myself! Just two full months in and not only are my bars much taller....there is just ONE two day gap! And not many one day gaps. In the last 30 days, I have only missed 7 days...5 one day spaces.
My next mini goal is to delete larger 2 day gaps in March. To never skip more than one day. And continue to decrease number of total days off. I seriously never thought I would be doing this well after just 2 months. 😲
I've cracked this barrier! I've not taken a 2 day break at all in the last three weeks...It's a habit! In the last 30 days there has only been 4 days off. I find I get restless skipping even one day...and it's always been due to time. If your goal is to exercise daily, as mine was, shift your perspective to "move daily". This gives you a back up plan of squeezing in a brisk walk for even 10 minutes. It all counts in your exercise diary...focus on filling your exercise report with blue bars. It has taken less than 3 months for me to eliminate two-day rest days. I'm super confident I'm close to moving daily. 😊13 -
My next mini-goal is 130 lbs. Giving myself a couple months to reach that as my weight loss has slowed down quite a bit, which is to be expected this close to goal. I would like to be 130 lbs by April 1, 2023.
This weekend I reached this goal. I am finally under 130, 129.8 to be exact. The last time I was at 130 was in 1998. And the last time I was in the 120s was in the mid 1970s, before my 2nd son was born in 1978.
My next goal is to reach a 22 BMI which would be 126 lbs. That, I think, will be my final goal weight, plus or minus a couple of pounds.
I'm not putting a date for this goal. Since I am down to the last 4-5 pounds I expect this to be a very slow process. I'm also planning on increasing my protein and focusing more on strength training to maintain as much muscle mass as possible.6 -
47 pounds down, 27 to go to get out of the obese category. We leave for a cruise Thursday. My mini-goal for that cruise is to eat and exercise with purpose. Yes, there will be indulgences, but I don't want to blow the health that I have gained over the past year.10

10lb down
next goal is to get solidly below 230. I was 233.6 yesterday, so round up and call it 5 lb, which also gets me over 5% lost.9 -
Being close to finishing my journey! 10 pounds to go!9

Congratulations @AmyDahlTorres! What a remarkable achievement! I think it would be so much fun to go for a morning walk on deck and watch the sun rise over as many ports of call as possible. It would be a once in a lifetime memory and start your day with intention. 🙂6 -
Mini goal to lose 8lb - in as long as it takes - as have 80 lbs to lose….current loss is predicted 0.4 - 0.6 lbs per week - so is going to take a while 🥴 🐢 and not a 🐇8

My average weight last year was 86 kg, so that’s my next mini goal. I’m around 89.5 kg right now.6

Re- Introduce myself to my skipping rope, it’s been decades!7 -
Get below 300lbs. Hit that goal and lost motivation so headed back in that direction.9

Started in 2012 at 247 and weighed in today at 183. My goal is 170 when ever it happens. Lost weight before very quickly and on diets, but always gained it back and a little more. My mini goal is the next tenth of a pound.

I finally weigh less than my dog. 😂. My new goal is just seeing the 160’s on the scale. I’m 2 pounds away so hopefully it won’t take an eternity. 🤞🏻11

Just to stay within calories - 1day complete! Keep going off piste🙄7

I just joined a gym and I plan to go at least M-Th for the 5:15 am classes. I missed the class today (technological issue) but did 2 rounds of circuit training and 20 min on the treadmill. I need to get rid of 40 lbs and find my fit bod under this fat. I used to be a crazy home-gym crossfitter, so I wasn't too hip on joining a gym, but it has been THE BEST thing. So, getting off the couch and to the gym is my mini goal8

A trip to Florida next month! lol8

weight loss intent is annoying me (don't care to log meals, much less measure them), so two new focuses (focii?). 5 a day of vegetables/fruit and to get my daily steps over 7k on my little pedometer. I can't use the phone so much because I don't always have my phone on me.

For me it is getting ready for a 100km (62 miles) bike ride at the end of the month. I have not ridden a bike in 41 years but to get back in shape and lose weight I bought a road bike last week and am preparing for the Haleiwa Metric Century Ride on April 30th and the Honolulu Century Ride (100 miles) in September.6

To have arms and abs by our July Cape May beach vacation!7

To have at least 5 out of 7 days this calendar week of sticking to my nutrition plan. So far, 3 days of success! I am feeling confident of this one!10
-
To get in 10,000 steps a day for 15 days. Currently 5 days in.10

My first mini-goal is getting into the "overweight" category rather than "obese" on my BMI. I'm 5 pounds away from that. (I despise that chart.) Then I will be just over 30 pounds away from the "normal" category. A little more long term goal is to not be the 'chubby girl' on a bachelorette trip to Vegas that I'm going on in September. I have anxiety just thinking about it.
I can officially say as of this morning, I have hit mini-goal #1. Now on to the next 5 pounds!24 -
My goal for now is to eat more vegetables and to get out of the 240''s.13

I weighed in today at 200.8lbs. I've lost 125lbs so far. I have never weighed less than 235lbs in my adult life. The mini goal keeping me motivated right now is to get out of the 200s! And I'm damn near there. About 40lbs left to go to my ideal weight!37

My mini-goal is to work out 3x each week, 4x if I'm having a great week.11

My new goal is cracking the 205 lb barrier.
I finally cracked the 210 lb barrier! I got close 2 to 3 times over the last 4 years.
For the last 25 years I could never get lower than 210 lb till I started a low carb, no sugar diet and exercise lifestyle. and two hours of fat burning zone exercise.
I'm not full Keto, just low carb and no sugar.
Along with the new lifestyle I also started Intermittent Fasting I exercised and dieted before but now I'm not hungry.
The fasting is from 8pm to 3pm daily only eating only from 3pm to 8pm and then nothing but water, tea or coffee through the night and morning till afternoon.
My new goal is cracking the 205 barrier.
Greetings to all and have a great day.8 -

I have been able to get my steps over 7k pretty consistently, so got to keep that up. Due to some intermittent leg stiffness of my dog, she's been on a don't run/jump limit for a bit, but leashed walks are ok. So we've been trying to do more of those, which definitely helps the step count. I'm going to bump this up to 7500.
The 5 a day of vegetables and fruits is not progressing as well. There are days I'm good but still more days not so much. After some internet research, I have realized I don't always know what a serving of vegetables looks like. 6-8 baby carrots is a serving. that seems incredibly small. So maybe I'm doing better than I realized, I don't know. Side effect of not even attempting to log is that I don't remember what I've eaten when so it's harder to determine progress. Continuing with the goals of 5 a day but probably need to add logging back in as well.7
