Depends on how the person is proportioned but I would say size 12. This is my opinion.0

I think that would be too many answers...depends height, muscles, confidence level, etc. Goodness knows you won't see me in one but I have seen bigger girls that look great and smaller girls that don't...so much of it is confidence0
-
Easy the same size that you would not like to see me in a speedo! No really if your doing the muffin top thing...let it go.0

How big are the boobs?
Those are the deal breakers.0 -
lol thats a very tough one. i have never wore one in my life... i have seen women wear bikinis and have a 40 inch waist or larger!!!.... wear a swimsuit let alone a bikini and have big thunder celluite thighs... i personally wouldnt wear one unless i had decent porportions whatever size that is....0

I'm sure its different for everyone, but a sure sign is when you can't see the outfit anymore...0

I am a 16 and I absolutely wear a bikini!0

I obviously realize a lot of it has to do with how toned the person is, but a toned size 16 looks a lot bigger than a toned sized 6. Personally, I have never once worn a bikini or had the confidence to do so. I have super high hips that ALWAYS make me look like I have a muffin top even when it's just bone. I really want to wear one some day though....0

I second this motion.0 -
I sometimes wish people would consider what age they should stop wearing bikinis, rather what size.0

I think that it seriously depends on your build. I wear a size 12, but I am proportioned well and don't have love handles, back boobs, etc, so they look ok on me. But, I am tall have a bigger bone structure. Someone else in a 12 may not look the same. So, it totally depends on your build and how toned you are.0

No such thing as being too big for a bikini - it's really only ever a case of a particular bikini being too small....0
-
As long as the persons comfortable, I don't see a problem.
If they're not something I wanna be looking at, I won't.0 -
I think it really depends... I opt for a tankini myself... the benefits of a two piece with the coverage of a one piece!0

I also think it has a lot to do with waist size. Currently mine is a 35.5 and I would never wear a bikini unless I got below a 30.0 -

Because of my hips, tankinis make me look enormous. Even when I was my skinniest I looked big in a tankini.0 -

There is none, as long as the person feels comfortable... I would personally say age...
No one over 35... LOL Then again that is just me... xx0 -
I think if you feel comfortable in your own body to wear a bikini, then wear it, it is people's choice to look or not.0

I put on a bikini for the first time in my life. I think I'm a bit old for it, though. I felt weird, but heck I was in Hawaii, so far away from anyone I would know and said to hell with it!
How big is too big? When you just don't feel comfortable and/or you see the look of horror on people's faces when they see you.0 -
I think as long as they are comfortable. Personally....I would never wear one. I feel to self conscious!0

I don't think there should be an age, if an older person has a rockin body that they are proud of why shouldn't they be able to show it off!! I hope that when I'm old I still have the confidence to wear one!!0 -
id say what ever you feel comfortable in. a lot say size 12, i'm a 16, 12 isnt too far off but i dont think id feel comforable untill im in the 170's0
-
i imagine everyone will have a different opinion! i have seen so many different shapes and sizes in bikinis... honestly i think its the wearers choice, but please no thongs!!! i hate when i go to the pool and the old, chunky lady wearing a thong has to bend over frequently in front of my 5 yr old... unfortunately modesty and shapely bodies aren't the only types out there.0

For me, when I was 150 lbs and about a size 8 I did, now that I'm 180 lbs, and about a size 14 absolutely not. As for what other people wear, I could care less.0

^^^This!!! There's a lot of people walking around in bikinis that probably should not be, but if they feel confident then who am I to stay what they can and can't wear? I personally have never worn one in my life and it'll take a while before I feel confident enough to.0 -
I think its all about dressing for your size, so if your a 16 maybe a sexy one suit would b more flattering . But than Again if bigger girls have the confidence to wear a bikini "go girl I say" if people don't like it they don't have to look0
-
As long as the person is comfortable wearing it, I don't think there's any age or weight limit.
I personally quit wearing one when I got above a size 8, and that was pre-kids. Now, after having 2 kids, I don't think I'd wear one even if I got down to a size 2, unless there were some plastic surgery involved.0 -
Its all about proportion, this question is hard to answer without sounding shallow or judgmental0
-
no size is too big for a bikini in my opinion, as long as you feel good then nothing else matters. its all about body confidence, if you have that then you can where whatever you like x0
-
Hopefully one day I'll have the confidence for one! I really don't care if someone else wears one and they're "big". Other people's fat doesn't disgust me as long as it's not too too bad! I just want to have the confidence some day.....0
