On Again Off Again... I Really Wanna Stay ON!

I get on track and then always seem to allow things to knock me back off again. And thenI get fustrated with myself everytime I try to restart, thinking "Dang, if you hadn't quit before, you'd already be down to this weight, or be at that fitness level by now". Grrrr
But here I am, trying to motivate myself to get back on this crazy horse. I would like to lose at least 70lbs. Just to have more energy and to feel better in general.
It seems like the friends I had on here are no longer active in the app, so I am excited to find new friends to encourage and that I can encourage in return.

Hi! I feel the exact same way - i have around 60 - 70 pounds to lose and I keep starting and stopping. It feels like I constantly allow myself to be derailed by every situational whim. (sigh...) I want to get to a point where I can get into the mindset of health and weight loss and not let every long day or stressful event contribute to throwing away any progress I've achieved.
What does your strategy look like so far. I'm floundering at the moment.0
