I got on the scale for the first time in 2 years last February and was shocked to discover I had gained 25 lbs in 2 years. My first mini goal is to lose that 25 lbs I gained. I have lost 13 lbs and have 12 more pounds to go.13

I am working on bringing my blood sugar down, since i started logging my food and walking at night after dinner my average has come down 22 points in two weeks! now i have added core strengthening and light weight lifting to boost my metabolism.
My next goal is to decrease my average another 20 points in two weeks.
long term goal is to get off diabetic meds13 -
I've lost 45 lbs so far in my goal to loose 100 pounds. I had to loose some of that twice. I have met one mini goal reduce Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. I went from severe to moderate on my MRI. I hope by my next MRI in June 2024 I will have mild or even none! My current mini goal is I want to loose 20 pounds so that I am just over weight on the BMI scale and not obese. That is my next bench mark. I know that sounds silly but I hate seeing that in my medical records.15

Getting into the 100's for the first time since high school and I am 74 and 15 lbs. away from 199.15

My goal is to retain what I have lost. I've lost 37 pounds, and I worry about Sunday. I am really hoping that I complete all the meal prep that must be done tomorrow. I almost have one page of groceries. Hopefully, I'll have enough cash to get everything. If not, I will have to wait until next Friday. Gotta get recommitted. I have 4 loaves of bread left. I hope they go fast, because they are the wrong type of 'grains'. I'll try to get Dave's Killer Bread in a couple of weeks. I hope I can freeze it because I will have so many servings in the deep freezer.
The things we do to make sure bellies are continuing weight loss. The Mediterranean Diet is a breeze, but it's majorly full of busy stuff. The reason I have to have so much variety, is because I get bored and fast; especially if I have the same stuff over and over.6 -
To stay in the 150’s solidly! For a bit!9

Checking off the first part of this goal: I can now sit down in the chair, and get back up, without getting "stuck" Still not the comfiest sitting experience, but I'm happy with my progress.19 -
To get into ‘wonderland’. I’m a lb.or 2 from it. Very excited.13

I am setting mini goals in 10 pound increments. I am 1.5 pounds away from 250, going to buy some new colorful straps for my Fitbit. Next minigoal 240: Thinking about mani-pedi! (At least a pedi, my feet look like hobbit feet right now, argh. Want to be able to wear sandals without embarrassment!)6

I haven't been watching my intake as closely as I should have been lately, so I gained some weight back. I'm really hoping to loose it again before I have to go to the doctor next month and get frowned at.5

I forgot to mention my other mini-goal, which is to get below 260 lbs. I didn't think of it a as mini goal because I haven't been in that range in... oh I don't know, probably close to 10 years now. And it has seemed entirely, completely, utterly unachievable for all these years. But as of this morning I'm only 1.4 lbs away, and this time I'm going to get there. So now it is for sure a mini goal10

I did it! 259.9 lbs as of this morning. Onward and downward!15

Thank you I'm currently in the middle of a 921-page book but later for sure! (Although I get all my books from the library instead of buying them. I like that I don't have to decide what to do with the books when I'm done with them.)4 -
This morning, for the first time in several years, I stepped on the scale and weighed below 200 lbs. I’ve been working towards this goal for the last 4 months. It was great to see that number on the scale. It’s very motivating, and reaffirming my commitment to losing weight. Whoo whoo!22

I lost some weight during a bout of illness (on the mend only a touch of remaining congestion), my first mini goal is to not gain the weight back. The second is to get below 235 for multiple days in a row. This morning 236.4
