    Thank you for this thread! I am starting again my journey to weight loss and this is a wonderful community wth people to encourage and get encouragement from!!:)

    39 years old. 5'5" from Greece...Gained approximately 44 pounds (20kgr) the last 2 years..

    August Start Weight: 175 lbs (79.4 kgr)
    August Goal Weight: 164 lbs (74.6 kgr) Adjusted after the first week...
    Ultimate Goal Weight: 125lbs (57kgr)

    August 7: Posted today since tommorow will be off grid!173.2 lbs (78.6kgr) A bit slower than I wanted.. I have concluded that I need to majorly adjust my goals, ( Ξ™ already made a change in my August Goal weight) or make huge changes for food and activity.. I find that as I get older, just food moderation, no longer works.. So consistently exercising seems to be the only way... Next week will show!

    My name is Donna. I am 63 years old and I live in the Midwest of the US. I am 5’ 5” tall.

    Start Weight (from July 31, 2023 ): 193.8
    Goal Weight: 189.8 (4 pound loss)

    End of Challenge Weight: xxxxx
    Ultimate Goal Weight: 145-155 (I’ll know it when I get there!)





    Weight in blue makes me blue because it’s a gain. Weight in fuchsia pink makes me feel cheery because it’s a loss. Weight in black means no change.


    08/01-193.6-(Trend Weight: 195.2)- I’ve changed my goals to 4 pounds per month instead of 5. That is one even pound per week with the half week being allowed for normal fluctuations or special occasions or travel. Seems easier and more realistic. Good luck in this new month, my friends. I hope we can all take advantage of the rest of summer and make every choice count. I’m rooting for you all!

    08/08-194.6-(Trend Weight: 195.6)- I had 3 bad days this week and I’m really paying for it. The scale went even higher earlier in the week because of 1 travel day, one festival day and one cereal binge day, but I’ve been putting in the work. I’m still one pound up but committed to doing everything I can before the next travel day derails me later in the month. I’ve been pre-logging, focusing on water and putting in 30 minutes of straight exercise along with my mild strength training. It adds up.
