What Mini Goal is motivating you right now!

My current motivating mini goal is beating the records I am recording for myself in my home gym. I just started yesterday and so the bar is low on everything. 😅9

I want to wear my blue jeans out in public. I managed to zip them up a while ago but 10.4 lbs of weight loss later, they still look rather unfortunate on me so they continue to wait in my closet.
I seem to currently be losing all of my weight from the outside in (head/neck/shoulders, hands & forearms, ankles & calves) and not much is happening yet in my midsection. Maybe another 10-20 lbs from now I'll start to see a change?10 -

I would like to start losing weight again! Its been a slow month.10

My first mini goal was to complete 6 weeks of healthier eating.
I just passed the 5-week mark. I have held in okay; I've had a few unhealthy choices, but I logged them and held myself accountable.
Other goals I set: stop letting anxiety hold me back from exercise and joining a gym, lose 25 pounds, and heal my relationship with my body.
I have joined the gym, I have been working with my doctor to get the right meds going, Weigh ins are on Sunday. And while the scale isn't changing much, I feel better, I have less pain, I don't wake up swollen, and my mental health is in a great place.14 -
Dropping 10 more pounds and toning up before my daughter's wedding in June of '24.12

Toning the midsection and the thighs, eating better (trying low-carb keto), and really want to be back in shape (toned) for vacation to Ireland next year!9
-
Lose one more pound to get to a total of 10 pounds lost. Then onto the next 10!16
-
To get outdoors today9
-
1lb back on … so losing that 1lb (again) is my mini goal!6
-
Like a lot of you, focusing on 10 lbs at a time. Just got under 240, so now working toward 230. Haven’t decided on 230 reward just yet, but I know it will NOT be food related 😁.11
-
Get to 190 by the end of the month. I am 193, so it is doable!10
-
Go down a clothing size and say bye to the current one forever.10
-
I'm about 2 lb from my pre pregnancy weight with my first kid. Never got back to it postpartum and we're talking 7 years ago. I'm gonna be geeked when I see it on the scale finally!15

I want to fit into a few dresses in my wardrobe that are like 3cms from zipping up. I might have been able to get them done all the way up if someone were helping me.7

My mini goal is to fit into my favorite jeans without a muffin top.10

This happened to me today! Unfortunately I have gained one pound....but I am STILL in the Overweight category. Definitely out of the Obese category forever as it would take quite a large increase in calories and sharp decrease in activity to go back up. In other words, I have reached a new level of lifestyle. I have tweaked my calories and daily exercise as I adjust to continually improving.
On July 19th I posted this. I've been quite busy but maintaining my lifestyle I hadn't properly exercised in at least two weeks, but my eating has changed completely I don't own a scale so I am not a slave to it and use a very accurate Community Centre one instead. Today, I realized it's been about a month and I should weigh myself Clothes fit amazingly good So I have NO idea what the result is and expect a gain.
I've lost three ounces! 😉 Definitely have permanently changed the way I eat. Still maintaining at Overweight and if anything....this little break has me MORE motivated than ever to resume my daily exercise. I'd love to get to and maintain a "Normal" weight this Fall. My eating habits were such a gradual change I can never go back I didn't use Noom, just listening to my own body cues.11 -
@spirittrail So wonderful and inspiring!3

Currently 213 so next goal is 210 (15 stone), then 205, then 203 (14 and a half stone) then 200…
No set deadline.8 -
I would like to get below 111kg and go for a long walk around our local park6
-
By most charts, I'm about 8 lbs. away from 'Overweight' BMI and out of 'Obese' for the first time in my adult life. I should hit it sometime in October!11
-
My bmi is around 35. It would be cool to go down a point!10
-
just scheduled a dr appt for Sept 11, so let's go with as much as possible. Let's me much more realistic, 228. I was 231.8 so feasible-ish.
oooh even better that would like 15lbs down total.

For me it's losing that 1 cm of body fat and gaining that 1 cm of muscle mass6

I have a doctor's appointment at the end of September. I haven't seen this doctor since March of last year. At that point I had a BMI of 48.31 and my blood pressure was 145/92, both of which are horrendous to even think about I also had various abnormal blood work, but I won't bore you guys with the details.
For this upcoming visit, I want to see at least one or two of these previously abnormal values within their normal range. (I'm betting on blood pressure!) Also my BMI is currently at 43.3 and while I don't expect to get below 40 by then, I'd like to get as close as possible (In case you didn't know: 39.9/40 is the border between just obese and horrifically obese, although the medical term is a little more polite.)
I'm still waiting for someone to notice that I've lost weight. (I had posted on here before about that being my goal. 27 lbs down now and nobody has commented, which is getting funnier by the day.) I'm also still waiting for my blue jeans to fit me well enough that I can wear them out in public. 15 lbs down from the day I first put them on and managed to zip them up -- but they still look ridiculous on me. Maybe I'll wear them to the doctor's office12 -
I have a follow up visit with my cardiologist Sept 5th. I would like to be under 230 by then. I'm currently 232. It will have been 6 months at that point since I was in. I was 252 at that visit.10

Improved blood tests and resting heart rate9

I really want to see my numbers on the scale go down into a new ‘decade’. I just need to lose 4 more lbs. for that to happen.11
-
