    09/01-193.2-(Trend Weight: 195.0)-

    09/04-193.6-(Trend Weight): 194.6- If I focus on my trend weight, I’m a little happier today. It’s a work in progress I know, getting that scale to go down and STAY down. It’s a tough job but I’m on it. Feeling strong today.

    09/11-192.4-(Trend Weight: 193.6)- It’s been a pretty good week although I suppose it could have been a bit better. So I appreciate the progress I made. Time to dig my heels in and get more consistent.

    I used the calculator that @Walela617 shared. So it calculated lowering my calories by 500 and my slightly active lifestyle, I could lose 13 lbs by October 5th. So I am going for it. My June 28th weight was 193lbs

    Pretty much same as last week. My scales are doing this odd fluctuating thing where the weight will be 78.4 one day and 79.6 the next. Not sure what causes it but I am going to go with hormones.

    @mnhughes22 Don’t drive yourself crazy with your goal number. Losing 22 lbs over 11 weeks is an excellent result. Life happens. You dealt with the unexpected issue, and you still get to record a 4.5oz/day weight loss for the summer (so far). That’s 2lbs/week! Keep up the good work!

    Thank you Jeda for continuing to post these challenges. You always give me hope.

    I’m 76, from B.C. Canada. Have a terrible track record of never completing these challenges but committing to this one. My Life Goal is to remain fit and active well into my 80's. I love nature walks, kayaking and biking but recent arthritic and other muscle issues have been a challenge. Allowed “life” and other obstacles ( habitual procrastinator ) to interfere with a great event I’d registered for but had to withdraw from. Recognizing that I can’t ‘push through’ like I used to be able to do even 8 years ago has been hard.

    My highest wt was 183; two years ago I managed to get down to 156, but then a slow backslide began. April of this year I saw 173.6 ☹ . Currently yo-yoing in the mid 160’s; Wt Loss Goal for this challenge is to lose 10 lbs and return to 156.

    MFP: Joined June 2021, 175lbs.
