Yes exactly. I messaged an old friend on here who doesn’t ‘do’ adding people, they didn’t get the message.
But then they were able to message me freely.
Between this and the ever sexy vocation of staring at circuit boards and capacitors all day today, I think it’s time I went outside for a bit.

2 days of training and both days someone from my office told someone I'm a professional figure skater. I guess that's what defines me2

Trigger warning... Mental health / abuseMy son was diagnosed with early childhood trauma caused by parental conflict, PTSD and social anxiety, and I am struggling so hard because I find myself feeling like I should have held on to that marriage for 5 more years. Maybe if I'd been able to do that, I could have shielded them from some of this pain.
I know I can't change the past, but it haunts me when I see how much they have been hurt.
I also tried installing my own dishwasher and invented a bunch of new swear words. My water line was 4" from the left vs 6", but when I tried to move it, I hit the floor joist. I figured out a way to run the line and then the darn thing was binding on the old flooring behind it. Had to tear that out. Finally got the thing in and realized the cord was trapped. Tried to pull it out again and it started binding on the current flooring in front. Sigh. A bunch of cuts, swears, and yes some tears, and the thing is in the hole... But I figured I'd wait til tomorrow to tackle the electrical connection.
Not sure if I feel pride at figuring how to move the line, or shame at losing my mind as many times as I did... Maybe a bit of both?5 -

❤️ I don’t know a lot of parents who aren’t a bundle of regrets. But you love your kid & you’re getting him the help he needs. .
Anyway, I think it’s pretty bad *kitten* that you’re installing your own dishwasher and figuring it out.2 -
I’m still a fan of VPL0

I always work out at 9 pm or later. There's no chance I'm waking up at 5 in order to do my workout before getting ready for work, so I have to wait until I have time to myself, which is never until around then.1 -

It worked! But I was so taken aback by your use of that word that I just had to ask.
She found “trousers” so archaic and ridiculous, but I couldn’t think of pants as anything other than underwear. So we settled on the neutral ground of “pantaloons” in the end.

I'm thinking that a lot of people I've met recently have forgotten how to savor the small things in life. They don't think of the little things as the "good things" when usually, they are. They're so worried about how "bad" everything is, they forget to hold on to the "good".2
