Hearing my 12 yr old pick Stairway to Heaven is pretty awesome.
Kid has an ear for it. He's like me and doesn't read music but can pick it up easily.
Bought him an acoustic/electric for Christmas and he hasn't stopped his desire to learn.

My middle son asked me to practice drawing mermaids so i could make him a nice one for his birthday at the end of march. I really kind of suck at drawing even though I enjoy it. Anyway he’s my guy so of course I’m trying. Now suddenly Pinterest is bombarding me with mermaids.

He's been playing that one for a month or two now.....it's fantastic. 😁
He's playing Hey There Delilah, Smells Like Teen Spirit and even has Thunderstruck down pretty well.......along with about anything he wants to figure out.
