    Thanks @takinitalloff and @evileyefirefly. I'm going to put less stock in what's on the scale and more stock in how I'm feeling day-to-day. Also watch my sodium intake which has not been a priority. Have to remember this is a marathon, not a sprint :smile:

    Unfortunately, I have had back to back travel situations for work, and it’s hard to stay consistent with a specific meal plan and/or working out when that happens. This is the first time during these challenges that I actually gained weight. It’s crazy because there’s a small part of me that feels like giving up. However, I am talking myself into keep pushing forward, and I know that this is a lifestyle change. I am going forward.

    Hi. Another tough week where I struggled. I’m having a difficult time eating right. The level of stress at work is debilitating. I tend to eat my stress. I really have to dail it back, and learn to put myself first. I’m always been really bad at that. Everyone else’s needs seem to come ahead of my own, and I know it shouldn’t be. I am disappointed at myself for letting it happen. I’m going to make sure I log my foods. I haven’t been doing that lately. Next week will be better. Onward and upward…goal wise, not scale wise. Lol.

    @evileyefirefly I agree with you. You can’t deprive yourself for life. And this weight management thing is very much a life long marathon, not a sprint. That said, The problem is that once I taste sugar, it makes me crave it more. I think that’s what sugar is designed to do. What should be a very sporadic thing, turns into a regular thing. I’ve never been able to find that happy medium. I’m better off not having it at all, at least for now, until I can manage the craving better. Thanks for your feedback.

    11/01-181.2-(Trend Weight: 184.5)- I have not eaten any of the leftover candy from Halloween as of yet. I say that with puffy chest, proudly boasting because chocolate is my drug and I am an addict. If it makes it until Friday 5:00 pm it will all go to my teenaged grandchildren when I see them.     11/06-195.4-(Trend Weight: 184.3)- Clearly, November has not been good for me so far. Too much travel and celebrations already. Even today I am traveling. I really need to get past all this and give myself some healthy space between now and Thanksgiving (and all the upcoming travel for Christmas shopping too!) Wow, this is such a tough time of year! It is difficult to live in such a rural area with no local shopping. Otherwise I could duck in, get what I need and get home where things go well and all is so much more controlled.

    So all my sister's came to town. And we went out to eat and to a concert and etc, etc.
    Second week of weight gain now. And next weekend is a girls weekend away with my friends. I think I might have to become a hermit if I am to loose weight.

    There are just so many fun things and temptations that go along with them.
