I was not expecting a loss this week due to having shingles and being on steroids. I haven't been able to go to the gym and tend to eat unhealthfully when not in not in "Healthy" mode. The funny thing is I was scheduled to go for my Shingles vaccine this week :/

So sorry! That is terrible. <3

I am at a stand still. Since summer, I lost 11 pounds but now my body is saying, "I like it here." and I am stuck in the 190s.

I knew a lot of it was water retention. I mean, it’s almost impossible to gain 5 pounds of pur fat overnight, right? I’m glad to see my toes have dipped back into the 170 waters this morning. Hopefully I can keep up the momentum.

11/30-181.4-(Trend Weight: 181.9)- Well, I guess it's back to the drawing board. At least my trend weight is down due to the ups & downs of the month.

12/05-180.6-(Trend Weight: 181.7)- My goal today is to not self-sabotage. I will be home all day due to this horrible chest cold that just isn’t giving me any breaks. There is no excuse for me not to stick to my eating plan. My appetite is not being affected whatsoever so the battle rages on! Exercise, however, is still tough because I’m so weak. I have tested Covid Negative twice now. Yesterday I was finally able to at least get on the exercise bike for a leisurely stroll. I’ve pre-logged my food so I think I’ll be okay. I really need to dip back down into the 170’s so that all progress is not lost. I’m very focused and very close……

    Sherri from BC.

    Start weight 192 lbs
    3 month goal 175 lbs
    Feb holiday goal 170lbs.
    Final goal 150 lbs

I think 10lbs loss is reasonable for me during this holiday season.

Last weigh in Sept 25 183.4
First weigh in Nov. 7 185.4

    November 14 185.4
    November 21 186.....up slightly
    November 28 186

    December 5 185
Surprised with this small loss as I've been eating lots of bread and chocolate this week.

I'm a little quiet these days. I am consumed with helping my husband recover from surgery. I took a leave from work for 8 days and hope I can get back to work after that.

The positive side: it is nice to be home all day long.
Cons: Watching someone you love suffer in pain.

I'll get back on track when he is better; I hope in a week or two.

I have been feeding my stress with Chex Mix. Terrible coping idea- but I will give myself a break.

I'm still reading the posts each day.

@RubyRed427 Wishing your husband a pain-free speedy recovery. I hope you will find peace in knowing how much you are helping him.
