Hello Friends!
Once upon a time I was a super successful weightloss person. With the help of Weight Watchers, and some belly dancing and a community group I think on caloriecount.com which is no longer a thing, I lost 100lbs after my yougest son was born. I convinced myself that I was maintaining for a few years even though my weight was slowing creeping up. He is now 9 and I've gained more than those 100 lbs back. I am turning 41 next week and after gaining 45lbs last year (when I wanted to lose weight), I know something has to give. So here I am. Doing my best. I am definitely experiencing perimenopause and have had a lot of success this week getting back on track. Exercising daily, and logging my food and staying within my calories. I usually try to weigh only once a week, but I will give this 10 days at a time challenge a try. Hoping to stay motivated. Thank you for being a safe space to share.

01/17 -182.6- (Trend weight 181.8) I’m turning this weight around. I don’t feel like changing my colorful “cross off chart” on all my challenges and I don’t feel like changing my ticker. So I am going to have to stick to the plan if I want to be an honest woman. I’ve been doing well on my meals-it’s the snacks that I have to worry about. I think the main problem is that I am staying up too late which puts me hungry again so many hours after my dinner. I’ve mainly been sticking to “approved” snacks, but it’s still eating into my exercise calories on some days. I don’t want to maintain I want to lose, so I’ll have to work on bedtime. Good luck everyone this round. It’s our time to shine!

I’m a 65 year young Oregon gal working on getting rid of those last 5-8 pounds. Last round I hit my first goal of 135, now working to hit my next goal of 130. The plan this round continues to be a minimum of 10,000 steps 👣, 2-3 days a week at the gym🏋️♀️, logging ✏️ everyday with no snacking after 8:00, and limiting the 🍷to social events only. And of course guzzling the water 💧!!!

1/17 133.0 I’m pleased with this but expect it to go up in the next day or two. I wanted something with crunch and ate 5 saltines with butter. Back “on the wagon” but no idea what is the snack/supper they are serving at bingo tonight.
1/18 134.5 I was weak. Did great with sub sandwich - pulled all of the soft white bread out and used the crusts to make my sandwich, added onion, tomato and lettuce. I should have stopped there but ate 2 bakery cookies. I’m okay with this though. I should be able to get rid of that quickly.11 -

1/17 170.6 ok, maybe my scales needs new batteries. Or maybe I'm dehydrated. Or both. Ate well yesterday. No exercise. Finally got out of the house for some fresh air and sunshine. Slept ok.
1/18. 170.6 ate well. No exercise but ran lots of errands, so at least some movement and some sunshine. Slept long and well. I looked back over some weight averaging, and I've been losing an average of 2 pounds a month for the last 5 months. I guess thats pretty good for this stage of the game.

I guess it will be weights and stairs. I did meet the healthy eating (except sodium), calorie & water goals. So, I will call today successful.

1/17 127.4# 💧 I got my voice back yesterday afternoon 😊and my head feels better too. I’m pulling out of the nosedive!!!
Will start with easy exercise today with the goal of not losing strength but not putting too much stress on my recovering body. Will also focus on increasing protein ❤️🩹

1/17 - 153.2 - very excited to be starting with a loss - now I need to hold it. Celebration season is over and looking forward to getting back into a normal routine - although what I thought was going to be a quiet weekend this weekend has suddenly become very busy. Winter Warrior Challenge #17 - 3 miles - still snow covered roads and extremely low wind-chills. 14 days left to go.
1/18 - 154.5 😩. Winter Warrior Challenge Day #18 - walked 3 miles to give mynlegs a rest. Roads are still snow covered, 17 degrees Fahrenheit,feels like 10 - felt warm compared to the past 4 days 😂
