    @deepwoodslady That belly gets us all Donna! Easy on ~ hard begone! (uggh! especially us menopausal gals) we'll just keep trying til we get it right :) 💪🏽 and nice drop!

    @reshii_devil What is going on with my post menopausal belly lately is very strange. I have lost enough weight on the upper stomach, just below the breast in the midriff area that my ribs stick out and it actually hurts to have them press against my mattress when I sleep. I mean, ACTUAL pain. HOWEVER, midsection in the belly button area (and below) it is still very mushy and watery and flabby. So here's to hoping that the bottom of my tummy (the part my cat is loving) catches up to my top tummy! I must say, as a diabetic I'm not too surprised that the tummy is the slowest to go. I guess that is pretty typical, but what size your wear is dependent on that lower measurement so I CANNOT wait for the progress! Since misery loves company, I appreciate you chiming in LOL. Let's slay round 249!

    @Leigh_b - so pleased your DD is ok, that's a nasty old bump there. You did well to get out and do the walk, it's amazing how therapeutic it is, so many people underestimate such a simple form of exercise. You look after yourself too as well as your DD <3 .

    @deepwoodslady - leg raises whilst prone and tightening your tummy muscles at the same time is good for toning lower stomach. I try to do 20 each morning before I dress (and before the scales :D ) if my hip allows, sometimes it complains too much!! But it does seem to make a difference.

    @musicsax One leg at a time like scissors or both legs at the same time? When I do anything that is tummy strenuous I have to hold in my hernia bump at the belly button area (umbilical hernia) but it is manageable. Thanks for the specific info. I'd like to add it.

    62 year old female, 5’5”. I am married, semi-nomadic (we live in three states, Mass, Maine, Florida).

    SW WW Sept 29, 2001 - 168.8 (initially lost 29.8, became staff, then weight up and down 18 years with low of 126.8)
    SW MFP Sept 14, 2020 – 153 (lost 40, then stress took off another 2.2 lb with low of 120.8, then stress became gain)
    SW MFP Jan 1, 2023 – 146.6
    GW Maintaining between 124 - 126

    Continuing to figure out maintaining, and to work on best nutrition and exercise.

    History:
    Harry and Han are our cats, who travel with us. Have two “kids”, who are very much adults, a DGS, and second GS on the way. We have two parents, 87(mother), 85(MIL) still with us, and I have logically been needing to help them more as they age. I got my act in gear during COVID, somewhat inspired by NOT becoming my parents. I lost 30 lbs and was exercising daily. Unfortunately, I am an “all in or not” person. Hubby and I seeing our family home and downsizing distractions, plus medical incident with my father and all their new needs, became an excuse (father has since passed and I am DPOA, Personal representative AKA executor, trustee, and oversee the majority of my mother’s care). A year and a half later, I gained 25 lbs and lost all my athletic improvements. I need to figure out balance and how to make health be a daily priority for life!

    1/27 – 127.2 Why the drop finally today? Yesterday was fly home (possible flight fluid retention) and I ate an airport lunch of real onion rings and my first pressed cuban sandwich. It was delicious, but very salty (part of the purpose of onion rings :p ). Did my best to compensate with the rest of the day. I tracked everything using best estimates. This week home is going to be challenging. Today I face going out to eat while catching up with neglected friends. But I have checked out the menu and have my tentative plan of ordering the mussel appetizer as my entrée. I hope to save enough calories today that I can have some bread to sop up the sauce. :)

    1/28 – 127.4 Handled my day well and made good choices. Did not track everything, and plan to sit down and recreate. But there is nothing I would really change, so that’s ok. :) Today, I face celebrating three people’s birthday, my widowed 87 year old mother, son’s girlfriend, and grandson who is turning 4 this week. More food challenges to be!!

    I usually do 2 legs together, but thinking about it, scissor action might use slightly different muscles, I'm going to incorporate that into my daily routine too.
    Be very careful of your hernia, I would hate for you to cause any additional problem xx.
