  • I used to have a very long list of things and one of them is Coke Zero, but in the past ten days, I have been trying to find other things to drink that don't have artificial sweetener and I am not so positive that I am unable to give it up at this point. Now, if I eventually am able to give up Coke Zero, then I have to believe there is NOTHING I couldn't give up. But, I have to say that I am most addicted to Coke Zero, cheese, white bread (though I eat very little of it now), DONUTS (but I haven't had one in about 14 months now), pizza (which I allow myself once or twice a month) and ice cream, but like pizza, I only have it once or twice per month now.

    I conquered, for the most part, potato chips. I conquered full power Mountain Dew. So, I have to believe I CAN conquer anything if given a strong enough reason. I hope.

    A few months ago I would have said that I couldn't give up breads, chocolate, coffee or tea.

    But honestly, I've gotten so used to my lifestyle change that I don't crave them anymore... sure a cup of coffee SOUNDS good... or I think.. Mm... I think I'll have a pice of chocolate cake for dessert....but I I don't HAVE to have them anymore.

    Odd how your body changes and gets used to being healthy!!!

    Would I want to give these things up FOREVER? Of course not.. but I COULD if I had to.

    I love cheese and I love pizza. Cheese pizza=win.

    I think I could give them up though if I really had to. My tastes have changed so much since the beginning of the year...
  • Cherry Coke.

    I always say I'm not going to drink soda anymore. Cut out that sugar, calories and carbonated badness. And it can go on for weeks and I'll hold strong, but then I got to the movies, or to Denny's and I see it. Cold, refreshing Cherry Coke and I throw all my hard work and accomplishments away, just for the cool cola.

    100% Colombian coffee for me. I'm married to a 100% Colombian man and he got me addicted to the stuff. Now, every time I try to quit, I get headaches. And I seriously can't function in the morning before I have at least 1 cup.

    For example, yesterday and the day before, I accidentally put shampoo on my face when I meant to wash my hair. And this morning, I sprayed Lemon Pledge in the non-stick pan instead of non-stick spray when making some Reddieggs. I NEED COFFEE!

    For me its my Tim Hortons steeped tea, 2 milk 2 sugar 150 cal. (or even red rose tea at home 65 cal).

    Coffee (I've drastically reduced my coffee intake, but I won't give it up fully), Chocolate, and booze. I'm reducing my beer intake and having a glass (or two if it's been a bad week) of wine instead.

    Definitely CHEESE! and pasta...two 'loves' of my life. I still have abit of both sometimes, but I try to limit my portions.

  • Pasta and peanut butter... not together of course. I know that if I gave up white pasta it would probably help my weight loss but I just cant do it. I have switched to whole wheat about half of the time but I cant give it up all the way.
