Haha 😆
I don’t wear much makeup on the daily, a little concealer and Miracle Balm for a little color.
Rarely wear foundation.
I feel like the more I wear, the older I look.
I understand what you mean about the shiny look.
I’ve started using Jones Road makeup and it’s all about the dewy look for mature skin.
It took a little getting used to but I love it now, have 5 colors and other products as well.
It will be interesting to see how it wears in the summer.
Probably sliiiiiiiiide right off my face. 😂

14 years ago, I had a mole that turned on me. A few months ago I asked my doc for a referral for a couple that looked suspicious. They booked me in for 2026!!! My first thought was that if any of them were bad, they'd have a chance to make some serious trouble over the next two years.
Yesterday I got a call that there was a cancellation for today.
Great news.. all my spots are good! Nothing to fear.

I had not.
But I looked, wow, a little creepy but pretty incredible.
Must be latex makeup. 🤷🏼♀️
I’m always amazed what people can do with makeup.

I picked up a job remodeling apartments for a complex almost 3 hrs north of me. I find it amazing how most of NY looks absolutely nothing like the NY i was raised in. I kinda like it.5

When I moved my kids from homeschool to public school several years ago, my now 16-year-old had some deficits and had to be put back one year.
Well school is getting on his nerves and also they are hemorrhaging teachers and they don’t have the right teachers to teach the right subjects and I’m getting pissed and he’s frustrated and we were thinking about trying to work out something where he goes to junior college simultaneously with going to high school so he spoke to his advisors and he spoke to the principal and really advocated for himself and today the principal told him that if he takes one extra class this semester and one class over the summer, he can graduate next year which would put him with his correct graduating class. He is so happy and so I’m happy for him.5 -

Yesterday was torture, my head hurt so much.
I fell asleep early then woke multiple times during the night.
I woke with no headache but I can feel the pressure behind my left eye and temple.
The wind brings the allergens.
I spoke to four different people that had the same headache I had.
I start having conspiratorial thoughts, lol.4 -

My boy collects obscure records. He's been uploading them to YouTube.
Today he had comments on two of the. From an 82 year old man in India saying basically he's so happy to have found this music since he used to listen to some of it on shortwave radio which ceased about 20 years ago. It made my boy feel really good that he might have brought a smile and some happy nostalgic feelings to an elderly man on the other side of the world. ☺️2 -

He was very proud to have gotten these comments. The one has had a bunch of views I keep telling him it's this one man listening over and over 🤣1 -

No, see there was this virgin stingray, who had no other stingrays around her, and she became pregnant and the question was whether or not it was parthenogenesis or was she impregnated by one of the sharks. I think the test resulted in a decision in favor of parthenogenesis- virgin birth
Actually now that I’m thinking about it, I don’t know for a fact that she was a virgin. Only that she became pregnant in the absence of the male of her species2 -

It’s been in the works for a few years, but my kids’ school is finally narrowing down the choices of names for their sports teams to replace one that is not standing the test of time. All the lands around me, the land we live on, was Native land and I respect this desire to be respectful.3
