    Hi everyone,

I'm afraid I've not been doing so well, goal-wise; so effective TODAY, I call a personal "DO OVER"! I will be weighing in on Sundays, beginning today:

    02/25: 150.2 - Day 1

Have a great week everyone (last week in February and only 23 days until SPRING!🌱

    Happy Monday,
This week was tough. I've not been able to go swimming in 2 weeks now. Sinuses still blocked and I haven't taken up any alternative exercise. I haven't been logging my calories, because I just know that I've not been disciplined. Yesterday I spent the day meal prepping to try and get back in track. My weight loss this week is reflective of the ups and downs with my eating habits, so luck basically. I need to get back into the headspace I was at the beginning of the year.

    My Goals for 2024:
    📝 Log Daily ❌
    🏊‍♀️ Swim 3x per week ❌
    🏋🏻‍♀️ Strength train 2x per week ❌
🧥 New wardrobe by August 🤞

Hi, I'm Jude. I'm 66 YO, 5' 2" and starting my 2nd month in this challenge. My history includes large
swings in weight with up to 50 lb weight gains. Two years ago I was 125 lbs; I started 2024 at 147 lbs.

My goal for 2024: to gradually lose the weight by changing the habits that hurt me and to learn how to integrate and maintain healthy eating habits for good.

    January goals:
    * continue my exercise routine- which has been pretty good
    * eliminate evening snacking- which is my downfall
    * weigh every day- which I avoid and then gain
    * log in here every week on Monday so I can't pretend the weekend is "free"!

    1/1: 146.6

    1/8: 142.6

    1/15: 141.4

1/22: 140.2 (a day early, we're away and traveling tomorrow)

    1/29: 139.2
    Starting weight: 146.5

    Goal weight: around/under 142
    Actual: 139.2
    Loss: 7.4 lbs

    February goals:
    * continue exercise routine, weighing and logging- I know what works, now do it.
    * continue to make good choices every day, enjoy food appropriately and within healthy numbers.
    2/5: 137.2
    2/12: 136.8
    2/19: 135.0

My name is Donna. I am 63 years old and I live in the Midwest of the US. I am 5’ 5” tall. My highest weight was 253 in 2016. My MFP start weight was 235 in 2018.

    Start Weight (from Jan 31st ): 181.6
Goal Weight: 177.6 (4 pound loss)

    End of Challenge Weight: xxxxx
Ultimate Goal Weight: 145-155 (I’ll know it when I get there!)

Weight in blue makes me blue because it’s a gain. Weight in fuchsia pink makes me feel cheery because it’s a loss. Weight in black means no change.

    02/01-183.4-(Trend Weight: 183.0)-

    02/05-184.6-(Trend Weight: 183.2)-

    02/12-179.6-(Trend Weight: 181.4)-

02/19-179.4-(Trend Weight: 180.5)- As you can see by my trend weight which has dropped dramatically, it’s been an up & down week with very little consistency and not enough structured exercise. I can do better. It’s disappointing that I had many days, many meals with much cooking, planning, logging. Many days of ignored cravings and hunger even that I had to get through. And for just a few moments of pleasure here and there, I only dropped 0.2 in a week. It’s truly not worth it. I’ve got to stick to the plan!

02/26-180.2-(Trend Weight: 180.2)- It was a very very emotional day yesterday and I ate my emotions last night. It didn’t help. Now I have to work my way back into the 170’s again.

    02/29-xxxxx-(Trend Weight: xxxxx)-

Every healthy habit brings me closer to scratching each of these off to NEVER see them again!

Starting weight for this challenge on 1/1/24: 248
Goals for 2024: log food daily, weigh in daily as possible, get to the gym at least 2-3 times a week and drink more water instead of diet soda!
Seems like my body is just hovering within the same couple of pounds. Funny thing though, all of a sudden my clothes are looser and I feel smaller. Guess this is a lesson in plateaus and learning to trust the process. Hope everyone is having a great week!

    Random stuff about me:
I am 59 years old this month (ouch). I currently live in Texas with my hubby and crew of kitty babies. I am a neonatal nurse practitioner and work 24hour shifts in a busy NICU. If it looks like I disappear on random days…that’s why! About 10 years ago I lost 135 pounds. Never made it to goal but just sort of leveled off at ~200 pounds. Over time I gained back nearly 50. Working on getting back at least to my low weight of 200. I would like to eventually make it to 150 where I think I would be comfortable.

Hey, I'm Crystal! ❤️ February goals are to still stick with around 1200 calories/day, 70-90 carbs and low sugar. Also to walk 5-6 days/week. Doing OMAD since (Feb 5th).

    5'4
    SW: 198 lbs (Oct. 2023)
    GW: 140-145 (By June, 2024)

    Feb 1st: 184.5
    Feb 7th: 183.6
Feb 14th: 182.1 (weight was 181.4 yesterday). I expected a little increase, as some ladies and I had a Gallentines party last night with all sorts of goodies and champagne 🍾
Feb 21st: 180.6 yayyy! Still loving OMAD. I think this number could have been better because I didn't put all the work in I should have. I only walked 2 times this week. Also, my sleep has been awful. If I can do better about those things then I know the loss will be better. Still satisfied though.
Feb 28th: 177.2 had a couple of very low calorie days the past week due to sickness but all is better now! Didn't get as many walks in as I planned, but I'm happy to see a good loss! (7.3 lbs total loss in February)

For the next couple of months I will be eyeing the 160’s and dreaming, longing and yearning for that new decade which will bring me even better health. Nice round everyone! The final count is a 4.6 lb. loss for me in February. I will continue to make a 4 lb loss my monthly goal as I would love to lose 4 pounds a month even on the months that it just seems my body has a different idea. So any progress is very good and I am very happy to end with a loss this time around.

03/01-DNW-(Trend Weight: DNW)- No weigh Friday as I get up extra early to get grandson ready for the bus. I only weigh later if I lay back down but today I can’t. Also I take my once-per-week Fosamax on this day with 8 oz of water upon waking. Yesterday was a good clean eating day but hardly any movement or exercise so my calorie burn overall was very low. Today will probably not allow me much better. One of the new windows was put in yesterday in the bedroom and floor in bath was prepped for new sub=flooring. A flurry of activity here. Well, my friends, Its a new month. Time to “March” into better health and a more optimal weight (for most of us). Let’s go!

    Jan 1- Feb1: 180.0 – 177.6 (-2.4)
    Feb 1 – Mar 1: 177.6 – 170.8 (-7.6)
    Mar 3: 169.0

I slipped into the 160s again. I want to stay here for a while. According to the charts I have been using my BMI is less than 28.5 which moves me from obese to overweight. The normal range for my BMI would be less than 25.0 and I would have to weigh less than 147 pounds. Today I will celebrate "OVERWEIGHT". The long-term destination is "NORMAL" but the next milestone is 150 something.

Hi, I'm Jude. I'm 66 YO, 5' 2" and starting my 3rd month in this challenge. My history includes large swings in weight with up to 50 lb weight gains. Two years ago I was 125 lbs; I started 2024 at 147 lbs.

My goal for 2024: to gradually lose the weight by changing the habits that hurt me and to learn how to integrate and maintain healthy eating habits for good.

    Jan and Feb:
    January goals:
    * continue my exercise routine- which has been pretty good
    * eliminate evening snacking- which is my downfall
    * weigh every day- which I avoid and then gain
    * log in here every week on Monday so I can't pretend the weekend is "free"!

    1/1: 146.6

    1/8: 142.6

    1/15: 141.4

1/22: 140.2 (a day early, we're away and traveling tomorrow)

    1/29: 139.2
    Starting weight: 146.5

    Goal weight: around/under 142
    Actual: 139.2
    Loss: 7.4 lbs

    February goals:
    * continue exercise routine, weighing and logging- I know what works, now do it.
    * continue to make good choices every day, enjoy food appropriately and within healthy numbers.
    2/5: 137.2
    2/12: 136.8
    2/19: 135.0
    2/26: 134.2
    Starting weight: 139.2
    Goal weight: around/under 136
    Actual: 134.2
    Loss: 5.0 lbs
    March goals:
    * stick with the plan, it gets harder to lose as I get closer to the goal
    * enjoy all our March birthdays and be conscious of portions
    * continue to log consistently
    3/4: 135.0 (birthday dinners!)
    3/11:
    3/18:
    3/25:

My name is Donna. I am 63 years old and I live in the Midwest of the US. I am 5’ 5” tall. My highest weight was 253 in 2016. My MFP start weight was 235 in 2018.

Ultimate Goal Weight: 145-155 (I’ll know it when I get there!)[/b][/b][/color=green]

    Start Weight (from February 29th 2024 ): 177.0
Goal Weight: (4 pound loss) 173.0
End of Month Final Weight: xxxxx
    Total lost/gained this month: xxxxx

Weight in blue makes me blue because it’s a gain. Weight in fuchsia pink makes me feel cheery because it’s a loss. Weight in black means no change.

Let’s go!

03/04-177.8-(Trend Weight: 179.0)- I’m doing okay for the most part. I just have to watch those night time snacks. I will say it is hard to get my fitness in with the crew that is here all day for the renovation. I’m trying to fit what I can in during the late evening but by then I’m so tired. But there is no excuse to do absolutely nothing so I am making sure I do something. I’ve also fit in a little extra strength training with arm weights.

Hey, I'm Crystal! ❤️ Goal for March is to be in the 160's by the 31st. Still watching macros while doing OMAD. Also plan to walk at least 5 days/week.

(7.3 lbs lost total in February)
March 6th: 176.6 I could have done better this past week. Looking back at the week, there were a lot of social outings. Had a bunch of junk that I didn’t need. (Pizza, fries, candy, burger etc). I know these things are ok sometimes but when it's several days in a row, it doesn't do me any good. Didn't stick with Omad the whole week either, or my calorie/carb goals. The plan for this next week is to stay on track with my goals and omad.
