Hello!
I am a 39 year old, 5’4” woman. I would like to restart my fitness journey. Post my pregnancy in 2010, I lost a lot of weight and got fit. Up until 2020 I was really fit. But after that I have gained and gained so much weight that by this February I got to my heaviest weight since pregnancy! I am now ready to shed it all and get back to looking good!

I found MFP in March and this group in April. Hello again. So it’s March already! Glad to see so many familiar people here again. I’m moving house in 7 days so may not exercise 4x weekly. But I’m doing full time work when I move for assistant nurse so I’m going to need my energy. My weight did stupid things like go up during February so I’m now trying to lose the same 2kg again.

Hi! My name is Cathy and I'm in for March!! I am not new, but have been away a long time. Recently gained 30# while helping take care of my 89 year old Mom who went down very fast. She's stable now and in assisted living so I feel like I can actually take a small amount of time each day for me and my health. March 01: 156.4 😁 👣 📝 💪 💦 Busy day yesterday. For Christmas my husband makes a Daddy-Do list for Allyson. This year she wanted to convert her coat closet into a pantry. We got that done yesterday. I spent the day handing tools (kind of felt like a dental hygenist- LOL). In the down time, I helped her with her taxes. Spent most of the day there, had take-out for lunch. I did get my walk in before we went, and did a strength train session when we got home. I am tracking differently this month, so I went over my calorie limit a little if I don't count my exercise. Was happy with the scale today.

@Deb__23 Hello Deb! Welcome to the group! I don't think Jill has ever had any specific rules for posting etc. Most post every day. You can create your own format/page or you are free to copy paste any other you see including mine if it helps. Along with posting your weight most will tell us how their day had went, share thoughts, goals, ideas, recipes, good book titles, great songs to dance to, their exercise routine, when they've had special occasions such as birthdays. It is nice to use it as a journal for your journey as there may be things that would inspire and help others. It's wonderful to have you here and I hope you will enjoy all your time with us. Jill posts a new challenge at the end of every month for the following month. It's a wonderful group and a very safe and interesting place to be! Let's do this!4 -

03/01-DNW-(Trend Weight DNW)- No weigh Friday as I get up extra early to get grandson ready for the bus. I only weigh later if I lay back down but today I can’t. Also I take my once-per-week Fosamax on this day with 8 oz of water upon waking. Yesterday was a good clean eating day but hardly any movement or exercise so my calorie burn overall was very low. Today will probably not allow me much better. One of the new windows was put in yesterday in the bedroom and floor in bath was prepped for new sub=flooring. A flurry of activity here. Well, my friends, Its a new month. Time to “March” into better health and a more optimal weight (for most of us). Let’s go!

Hi again. I wanted to include a (spring) recipe that is probably not new to you guys but I made this version up and we love it. It’s a little bit hard to record but it’s very filling and high in protein and very low-carb.
Keto Egg Salad
One dozen boiled eggs, peeled and chopped fine with fork
20-ounce package of peppered bacon cooked crispy and crumbled
One cup, grated or diced Jarlsberg or Dubliner
One chopped jalapeño
One cup chopped celery
Chopped green onions
Bobs, big boy, blue cheese dressing to taste
Mix well store in a bowl. We serve 1/2 cup (one egg) to one cup (two eggs) portions with salad or by itself. You could have it on keto bread. This much will last a few days.
