Working on getting back to the middle of my weight range. I’m using weekly mini goal as weight fluctuations from day to day.

3 lbs challenge: (weigh less on 24th March than I did on 17th)
    17/3: 137.8
    18/3: 138.1
19/3: 138.0 (going in the right direction)
    20/3: 137.9
    22/3: 137.6
    24/3: 137,6 (0.2 down 👌🏻)
25/3: 137.5 (Weigh less on 31st March than I did on the 24th)
25/3: 136.8 Very happy with that, going into the holiday weekend. I expect some of it may be water weight as the swelling in my knees has gone down considerably.

💡Yay! That’s more like it!. Tortoise rather than hare 😝
💡Being more mindful on portions, and snacks, Eating just a small portion of my exercise calories.
💡Nice couple of bruises developed on knees, but nothing too bad.

NB: Sticking to my Solid Habits, and being mindful of over snacking.

Tooth feels much better today. But still a little sensitive to hot/cold and pressure. But the pains gone.

Beasted out another workout this morning followed by eggs and avocado for breakfast.
Ash has been working out nearly every day! I'm still on one day and off another. But will work up to most days!

It really knackers me out lol

    3/20: 187.0
    3/21: 185.6
    3/27: 187.6
    JFT Wednesday
    - Weigh in
    - Work by 8:00
    - Meetings
    - Pizza for lunch
    - Log Food :(
    - Stay Green :(
    - Follow up with lawyers :(
    - Trivia
    - Home by 10:00
    - Shower :(
    - Set out clothes for tomorrow as surgery is early

Up early to get to the hospital. Got here at 8:30 got his nerve block around 9:45 and went back for surgery at 10:20. Things are moving pretty quickly. Doc says the screw didn't break, but the bone gave way around the screw. Now they need to figure out why. Worst case is inflection. That will require a cement spacer, 4-6 weeks of IV antibiotics and another surgery in 3 months. Best case is it was just a weak spot in the bone and they can just take out the old parts and put new ones in. I totally freaked out last night with worry, but am doing better today.

Didn't weigh in this morning. Today will just be care taking.

I haven't had time to do much more than log and post goals (often late), but I've mostly been staying on track. A houseful of company and all the Easter treats may upend that, but I'm going to try to pay attention to portions and make mostly good choices.

@pridesabtch - Sorry to hear about Tim's ongoing ordeal. Please remember to take care of yourself as well.

@Bex953172 - Glad you got all your dental work done in one appointment and that you mouth is feeling better. Sometimes it's better just to get it all over with at once.

@TerriRichardson112 - You continue to be an inspiration. One of these days I'll get to maintenance and will keep you positive spirit in mind.

@more_freggies76 - Sorry to hear that you're still dealing with eye problems. I hope your next retina procedure goes well and that recovery is smooth.

Good Friday! Tim is in good spirits, but is required to stay in the hospital over the weekend. He can walk around, but he’s very bored. Pain meds seem to be doing well. I went home to shower and just got back. He is napping so I thought I’d check in.

I haven’t had much of an appetite since this began, but promised I’d eat. I find this all very stressful.
    1. He will be out of work for a minimum of 5 months. Short term disability only pays full salary for 2 months. Hopefully he can work from home after that initial 2 months.
    2. He’s not good at needing help.
    3. I’m not a natural caretaker. The prospect scares the he’ll out of me. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t mind doing it, I’m just not good at it.
    4. About once a day I have a complete breakdown.

    JFT Friday
    - up early & shower 😒
    - Weigh in😀
    - Go to hospital 😀
    - Hold it together while I’m there 😀
    - Home in the afternoon to shower 😀
    - Back to the hospital😀
    - Watch basketball😀
    - Hold it together
    - Home around 10:00

I'm at Ash's parents this weekend, we're not really sticking to the diet but not going crazy either.
Taking the kids to the play centre today.

They live right out in the countryside, and the birds at 5am this morning was so loud. I could hear so many different birds 😂

Then the dogs both set each other off 15 mins later. Tried to sleep but then the kids got up. It's 6:15, So I guess I'm up now lol

@pridesabtch I've been Ash's carer since I basically got with him. It certainly didn't come naturally and I had to learn a lot. I know his is mental health, not a physical thing but I never really feel like his carer? He's alot better than he used to be anyway but it's more like we just care for each other because we're partners. So it's more natural that way I'm not doing it because I have to, I want to!

You're going to be fine looking after Tim! You are definitely over thinking it, it won't be as hard as you think, especially if he's not good at accepting help. Just step in when he really needs it.

I totally get the money worries so I do hope he can WFH after a couple of months.

But I wish him the best, and you! And you're always welcome to vent here if it gets on top of you! But I believe in you! You can do this!

@pridesabtch Sorry the news after Tim's op wasn't better. You have a lot on your plate. I completely get you being stressed about looking after him, I'm not a natural caregiver either, though I did it for my parents. You will be fine though, it's another thing to take "one day at a time". Just do what you need to each day, and you will soon get used to it. And of course hopefully he will have a complete recovery.

Not logging today as I'm meeting family for a village "soup n pud". Lovely homemade food, but very little low calorie stuff.
