I don't mind new friends for encouragement or just to chat! I just started my fitness journey 3 days ago! I would love to know what motivates you to keep going or like some tips you would have to lose weight the healthy way! 😁

    Welcome!

    What got me started was largely for the mental therapeutic benefits: release pent-up anger, control my own body when the world is largely out-of-control, that sort of thing.

    What keeps me going now is a combination of simply loving what I'm doing, the way my gym time is "me time" without family or work concerns, and the fact that as I get older my joints thank me for exercising and begin complaining when I go too long without, lol.

    My motivation is my mental health. I was experiencing panic attacks where I felt I couldn't breathe all day, every day. Since I started exercising, my breathing is getting back to normal. And in the process, I am losing weight! 🥳
