Well I started as of April - Highest I've been in years 185.6.
Weight as of June 1st - 177.8
Overall goal weight is to be -145
June 7 - 178.6
June 8 - 178.8

Today was great. Heading in the right direction now. I actually tried a pair of pants today that fit snug and it fit well. So that was a great feeling.3 -

I walked 2 miles yesterday and even climbed a few stairs on my bad knee -- so things are slightly improving! However I slept like butt - maybe 5.5 hours, so I'm not shocked the number didn't really drop much. Lack of sleep really affects weight.
@RunStart34 Congrats. Clothes fitting better is a definitely sign you're going in the right direction! Now that you have that proof, keep going.
@HappyDonkey75 I know it's frustrating. It could be your cycle, it could be salt you didn't know was in a food, etc. You're obviously doing all the things. It will eventually drop. I wonder if you need more protein to help with the increased exercise? I have zero nutrition knowledge, just thinking out loud.
Everyone else in the frustration zone, I hear you. I'm there too. I hope we all see some more welcome numbers tomorrow. ✨

I didn't snack, I walked 1.3 miles yesterday. I'm choosing to believe this is some water/waste buildup and it will be lower tomorrow. I fully expected it to say 209.X this morning though. 😑

I am thinking my body just reacts with water retention really easily . Thus explaining those 1-2 lb gains. I had done that big hike Sunday and didn't sleep well that same night (not sure why , was totally exhausted and should have) Woke up Monday super body sore and even worse last night into today. I know muscles that are worked hard retain water. So I am thinking that is part of my picture with the fluctuations. I think the other issue is sometimes I don't drink enough water. Yesterday I drank about 2 gallons total to try to flush things along and landed on 1545 Kcal (1500 is my daily goal) for the day.

Scale is still moving! AF started and the bloat is real! Had Chipotle for lunch today and that will be my only meal bc I had a giant burrito which MFP says is 1100 calories….worth it lol. I am 5’3 and have hypothyroidism so eating my maintenance calories actually makes me gain. I aim to eat between 1000-1200 calories per day. Vacation starts in 4 days! Not counting Friday bc I can still be on my diet since we won’t get in til late that night. Keep it up everyone!5 -

Even better day today. Hoping it continues. But over all I like that I am feeling less bloated. I did walk for 30 mins yesterday.4 -

Had watermelon before dinner last night, and even though I was uncomfortably full at the gym, ended up eating less overall!
Still have that watermelon in fridge to eat through next couple of days.

I usually weight early morning but woke up late and had to hurry and get ready. Or maybe I didn't want to see the number today since yesterday was so nice. But not sure if I'll be able to weight every day as I leave for Vacation and can't take my scale 🙃. Hope to keep seeing everyone post though.

Climbing at the new venue was quite stressful – the routes are all slightly longer and fewer easy ones for scaredy-cats like me. On the positive side, lots of opportunity to improve my fitness. Would definitely benefit from some technique sessions some time soon.

I think this is cycle related - which doesn't seem possible, but I'm bloated and feeling yucky and all signs say cycle. I walked 2.5 miles yesterday. This has to even out here somehow. Just super frustrated.1 -

@tmbg1 Our scale batteries die only when we don't have replacement batteries in the house. It's like it knows.
@Plasicage Watermelon is awesome, because it stays so well in the fridge and lasts a long time. And you can have so much of it. Some are sweeter than others; but it's so good and so filling.
@HappyDonkey75 So good to see your continued progress! We too have family coming into town this weekend. Trying not to stress on it all. Hang in there.

I have not exercised as heavily this week. My sciatica is really flared up but did get a pretty good sleep last night. or atleast I felt like I did. Woke up really groggy and felt like I could have slept another hour!
I will do a concerted workout tonight.
Definitely fighting the hungries today. Part of that may be because I had two gin &tonics' last night
(diet tonic and mostly tonic water, barely any gin, and lots of lime and cucumber)3 -

June 7 196 ugh. Zero clue there unless it’s from ovulating two days ago. I can tell I’m bloated. I need to push myself to be more active after work. So easy to make supper then sit and relax and not do much else for the day.
June 10 196. Sucks but I’m ok with it since we did eat out Friday and Saturday (anniversary) and had a couple drinks. Now to push water and workout this week.

* this is surprising. I did have some steak last night and fried potatoes. A bit heavier dinner than I have had lately but felt like I needed it.
First time I have been below 200 in probably two years or so??? so this was a nice number to see. At the same time, I am a data person and as I look at my weight lost since I started in March and April, its been a slower process than I wanted. I know everyone says slow is sustainable but May was a big month for loss, First part of June I haven't dropped anything really. All I did was just bounce up and down... So while I am glad to see the scale move today, I definitely want to try to figure out how to replicate the progress I made in May. Need a weight loss miracle!!!!
Honestly , it make me nervous because I know the trick will be to stay below that 200 and not bounce back up.. (or get discouraged when it does given my tendency)
Family arriving in town today. Dinner out tonight.. Going to stay the course, order a nice salad .

Came to conclusion that I must cut out sweets not just for the weight loss, but because they make me sleepy afterwards! Cut out half sugar last night and felt much less tired, managed to run 10k. This will be hard. I do consume sugar replacements in moderation too.2
