Getting below 190 pounds and staying there8

Getting under 200 consistently, I've weighed over it for many years.8

late october annual physical. my dr. was over the moon last year as i had lost 50#, but right after i saw her i hit a six-week plateau and then just gave up in despair. gained half of it back before just starting again recently—i even postponed my annual appointment six months so i wouldn’t give *her* a heart attack! so my mini goal is to get at least where i was last time she saw me.5

I did enjoy it, thank you! Interestingly enough, I saw a whole bunch of family that I haven't seen since Christmas '23 (40 pounds ago) and the only ones to comment on my weight loss were my sister and niece who knew that I had been working on weight loss. But I've yo-yo'ed so much over the years, I can imagine why the others didn't say anything (or maybe didn't even notice).
I'm now only 2.5 pounds from my September goal and 5.5 weeks away from it, so it may be time to adjust my next mini-goal.6 -

I’ve been doing well too with running twice a week and two gym sessions.
Back in June I was hoping to get under 90kgs. Had a stressful week last week and didn’t make it to the gym (where the scale is) and this week I’ve skipped 90 altogether and am into the 89s! I’ve not been at this weight since 2022 but helpfully kept some of the clothes from then which are starting to fit again 😊😊

But I didn’t even post my next mini goal 🤦♀️
If I get below 88.3 I’ve lost 10% of my weight, so that’s my next micro goal ( 2-3 weeks) and then my next mini goal is to be under 85kgs. I think it would be a push to get there before my next drs appointment in 6 weeks but if I go in weighing 86ish I will still be very happy8 -
When I break 230 (from 283) I will shave off the beard and see what my face looks like. I was 235 this morning a bit of a pleasant surprise.10

My other "mini" goal is my friend's wedding at the end of September, as I'll be one of her bridesmaids and have yet to get a dress. 🙈 I'd love to have hit the low-80s/high 70kgs by then, but don't want to put too much pressure on myself.
I'd hoped to get into the 80kgs by August, and I'm four days late but I've finally seen that 8 number on the scale this morning! I keep thinking I haven't come very far, and I saw some photos of myself yesterday that made me realise I have a long way to go, but I'm almost 9kg down now and that's 9kg more than where I started! I think the most of I've been getting out of this weight-loss is how it's brought me back to running - first to running 5k, and now training for a 10 mile run in October. Feeling happy.11 -
Ski season 24/25 - more days skied - longer ski days!8

To log my food for two weeks.

I would like to get below 100kg. I’m sitting at 101.7kg. So close!9

My first mini goal is to get to -25lbs loss. I've got 1.2lbs to go! I'm thinking of rewarding myself with a new Fitbit. Mine broke years ago and I've had a $15 Amazon one that doesn't do much.

Sounds like we're in a similar place! I tried to friend you, but I can't figure it out.2 -
Being the best version of me at 45. I have been letting my self and body go- it's time to put on my A game and start taking care of myself and my mental health! Mini goal- manage my sweet intake by filling myself with health food choices, second mini goal- to be kind to myself in the process when I fall off the wagon. Something that has really helped me as of late is having an accountability partner to show my progress to.7

Not to be completely disgusted by my ugly body anymore.7

My first mini goal was 10% of my body weight. I did that, and the next goal was to get my BMI below 40.
A few days ago, I hit that goal, so my next mini goal is to reach the loss of 15% of my body weight. 4 pounds to go!
I have planned out a whole series of little goals over the course of this year. The little victories keep me motivated!
My first "medium" goal is to lose 50 pounds by 7 Sept for a big event. That milestone will also put me at 20% of my body weight lost. 33 down. 17 to go!
Quoting my own post to say that I met my next mini-goal of losing 15% of my body weight. Woohoo!
My next mini-goal is to have lost 40 lbs. by the time I leave to visit my family on July 8th.
3.6 pounds to go!
I just squeaked that one in, having lost exactly 40 pounds by July 8th! My next mini-goal was my previous "medium" goal of losing 50Lbs by 7 Sept for a big event. I think I can do it, as I only have 4.5Lbs to go and 6 weeks to do it!
I did it! I have officially lost 50lbs, 20% of my body weight, and also entered ONEderland! 🙌🏼
My next mini-goal will be 25% of my body weight. I’d like to hit that goal by Halloween. 👻 That’s 1lb per week so I’m hoping it’s completely doable.
