Hey guys. I'm new here. Diagnosed with cirrhosis in Jan 2024 and am currently relatively OK as I was almost dead in Jan from drinking. Not drinking at all now and have a nutritionist but have to wait until august. Anything I can do to get healthier from people who can share tips or know liver friendly diets, exercises etc, and I must have high protein, no sodium, no added sugar, and sometimes I feel too weak to work out but I need to. So any help or support would be very much appreciated!

I don't have any advice, but I wish you the best. Glad to hear that you quit drinking. Probably a good idea to get your advice from your doctor.1

If you feel too weak to work out, just go for a little walk. It's okay for your journey to start with baby steps.
Huge kudos on not drinking. 👏👏👏1 -
No salt almonds
Banana Oat Pancakes (blend 1 banana, 2/3 old fashion oats, 2 eggs, a splash of vanilla and cinnamon, and I add peanut butter for extra protein)
Smoothies (protein powder, blueberries, flax seed)
Make a big batch of shredded chicken to start the week off. Add it to salads, mix with avocado to make a heart healthy chicken salad
Wheat Thins Hint of Salt are low sodium0
