    Thank you, @mtaratoot !
I'm Chris - 74 year old female...5'5" ...I used to be 5'7" but arthritis hit and I lost two inches, so now that two inches is squished around my waist like the billows of a big accordion...
...Oh, well. I'll just keep working on it.
My husband and I are retired.
I see my trainer for 60 mins three days a week and try to walk the other four days. The walking doesn't always work out.

Heaviest weight: 175.4 in early 2013.
Original MFP starting weight (January 2018): 168.2
    January 1, 2024 Weight: 150.0 (10-day average 146.8)
August 31 (Starting Weight for this challenge): 156.0 (10-day average 157.4)
September goal: Get back to lower end of maintenance weight range
Ultimate goal: Stay in maintenance range between (absolutely 140 - 153 and ideally 142-148)

I report scale weight and (ten day average weight), and I post on Saturdays.

    August 31: 156.0 (10-day average 157.4)
    September 7: 155.0 (10-day average 157.0)
    September 14: 158.0 (10-day average 157.5)
    September 21: 158.0 (10-day average 158.1)
    September 28:
    October 5:

Total loss for September: I made some progress early in the week, but I'm still going in the wrong direction. Clearly. Instead of getting back into the lower part of my maintenance range, I have gained almost 2/3 of a pound this month. That wouldn't be a big deal if I were closer to the bottom of my maintenance range, but since I'm at the very high end of it, I'm not so chuffed. That said, I am still NOT giving up!

    Stick to it!

My name is Donna. I am 64 years old and I live in the Midwest of the US. I am 5’ 5” tall. My highest weight was 253 in 2016. My MFP start weight was 235 in 2018.

Ultimate Goal Weight: 145-155 (I’ll know it when I get there!)

    Start Weight (from Aug 29th, 2024 ): 190.0

Goal Weight: 186.0 (4 pound loss)

End of Challenge Final Weight: xxxxx

    Weight lost/gained this month: xxxxx

Weight in blue makes me blue because it’s a gain. Weight in fuchsia pink makes me feel cheery because it’s a loss. Weight in black means no change.

    09/01-

    09/08-189.6-(Trend Weight: 190.9)-

09/15-193.2-(Trend Weight: 191.6)- Bad news-The scale is up after the medical trip/testing and I’ve got my work cut out for me. It’s been a struggle since I got home and out of sync. Good news-The Mammogram went well. I am still in remission on the cancer side and the suspicious side is remaining stable so I don’t have to go back for 1 year this time. The oncologist appointment went well too so fingers crossed! I have two separate days of travel next week but I hope I can make good away-from-home choices and keep it clean on my home days. The scale needs to go down, not up.

09/22-193.8-(Trend Weight: 193.5)- It was a rough week filled with more travel than even expected. Bad meal choices at the restaurants and the typical lack of movement while traveling has really wreaked havoc on the scale. I feel bloated, puffy, and have a muffin top that I’m not very proud of. Even the pull-on shorts are feeling tight. Time to get serious and show myself some love again in the form of exercise and smart healthy choices in my meals. Snacks are my biggest downfall and I simply must get control.

    09/29-xxxxx-(Trend Weight: xxxxx)-
