*I lost a bit of weight by changing my habits eating at restaurants. I only eat out if I am with others and typically order one entrée, no sides or soup and salad
*I quit drinking cream/sugar after 2 cups of coffee..most days and cut down on wine/beer and buying cake, cupcakes
*Also, I have a meal plan with vegetarian meals at least 3 or 4 days per week. I have my meals logged in advance every week, usually around 1500 calories per day. (I'm short 5'2). I try to stick to the plan, but not counting calories anymore.

Week 1 weigh-in! It felt like a "good" week. I stayed in macros all days but one, got in some good movement. Sleep was not great but that has been an ongoing issue (thanks stress). Have to be honest I was bummed to only see -.4 loss. BUT, part of the reason I'm here is to keep myself going even when it's slower going than I would like. I've put on 20lbs in the past two years from bad eating habits and emotional eating. Family illnesses and caregiving really got me off balance. so I'm here - grateful for this loss and looking forward to the next week of this journey! Glad to be here with you all.

10/01-193.6-(Trend Weight: 193.8)- I’m stalled today on the numbers, but looking back I seem to be hovering around these same numbers for a good two weeks now. It’s time to get serious and put a dent into it. I’d like to be back in the 180’s by the end of October. Time to have a good month. Let’s do it!

I had major surgery at the end of September, which of course came with a bit of weight gain due to fluid retention. My goal is to slowly get back to the weight I was just before the surgery (188.4 lbs) but not lose any more weight until the end of the year, in order to give myself time and energy to heal fully. I'm Chris - 74 year old female...5'5" ...I used to be 5'7" but arthritis hit and I lost two inches, so now that two inches is squished around my waist like the billows of a big accordion...
...Oh, well. I'll just keep working on it.
My husband and I are retired.
I see my trainer for 60 mins three days a week and try to walk the other four days. The walking doesn't always work out.
