            @Elbee1 I've been going in the wrong direction for a while, too. I sat down earlier this month and wrote out a plan on how to get back on track, and I'm seeing the results now. You got this, today is a great day to make a new plan if you so choose!3

 I am back on my plans, but my resistance to snacking is down right now. My issues of late have to do with anxiety & not getting enuf sleep. I’m still motivated & do have a plan. I need to work on it a little more & do some adjusting.

            @Elbee1 You’re welcome 🤗 Anxiety + sleep deprivation is a tough combo, may you find peace and rest again soon! I like the Sleep with Me podcast for when I need a friend in the deep dark night (or anytime my mind won’t settle down). Even my cat used to love listening to Scooter during car trips to the vet. Maybe you’d find him soothing too. The podcast is on Spotify and possibly other platforms too, not sure.3

New female contractor here today which upset the old contractor so he won’t come until she’s done with the tile work in the bathroom! Insecure baby! Tuesday is the Christmas concert for the DGS I babysit which is local. Wed is general diabetes doctor appt for son & I just one town over so that won’t be more than a couple of hours. We have completely different clocks here in these small rural towns and the hands move much slower than regular clocks lol. Friday is an 8 hour round trip down to Ann Arbor Michigan for my oldest daughter’s Mammogram. We’ll be leaving at about 6 am. Saturday is DGS #3’s birthday. He is the one that is autistic like my son, and very hard to buy for but I happen to have a little experience in that department. In-between, the new contractor “Rachel” will come as often as I can let her. I continue to wrap presents everyday trying to catch up. I also am wrapping all the new stuff as UPS or FedEx arrives. I was happy with the scale today. A little more progress. I ate a little less than I’d planned as I started gagging on my dinner. It was food within plan that I love but sometimes that happens with me for an unknown reason. I’ve always considered it part of my eating disorders. I ended up eating something else later that felt “safe” and didn’t find I needed any snacks after that. T-Minus 2.8 lbs. 2.2 lbs to go on my mini goal of 5 lbs loss within no particular time frame. My general goal is 4 lbs per month but I decided to set a micro-mini goal of 5 lbs at a time no matter how long it takes because it seems so much more doable that looking at the Big Big Big picture of what I need to lose!
 12/23-190.6-(Trend Weight: 192.0)- I forgot to weigh yesterday so I’m posting today. I do like the way my trend weight is coming back down. Lots of festivities until the rest of the year. Gotta hang on, even if it’s by a thread. I don’t expect to lose anything at this point, I just hope that the damage isn’t too depressing later. T-Minus 3 lbs with 2 lbs to go on my micro-mini goal. I don’t expect to hit it by the end of the year but I’m staring it down and on it’s heels! Merry Christmas Eve to all those who celebrate His Birth.

 *I lost a bit of weight by changing my habits eating at restaurants. I only eat out if I am with others and typically order one entrée, no sides or soup and salad
 *I quit drinking cream/sugar after 2 cups of coffee..most days and cut down on wine/beer and buying cake, cupcakes
 *Also, I have a meal plan with vegetarian meals at least 3 or 4 days per week. I have my meals logged in advance every week, usually around 1500 calories per day. (I'm short 5'2). I try to stick to the plan, but not counting calories anymore.

My DD and DGS have been here the past few days and my DGS really keeps me busy. Heartburn today and I didn’t sleep well last night. I will have to re-train myself to be hungry at appropriate hours! Our family Christmas was held on Saturday night with all the kids and DGK’s. Lots of food. Lots of Leftovers. Lots of Temptations. Time to get to work!

My DD and DGS have been here the past few days and my DGS really keeps me busy. Heartburn today and I didn’t sleep well last night. I will have to re-train myself to be hungry at appropriate hours! Our family Christmas was held on Saturday night with all the kids and DGK’s. Lots of food. Lots of Leftovers. Lots of Temptations. Time to get to work!
 12/31-192.6-(Trend Weight: 192.9)- I only lost 1 lb for this 3 month challenge but admittedly, it is the hardest quarter of the year. Better than a gain, I suppose. I’ll see you in 2025 with a renewed sense of hope! Happy New Year

 I'm Chris - 74 year old female...5'5" ...I used to be 5'7" but arthritis hit and I lost two inches, so now that two inches is squished around my waist like the billows of a big accordion...
 ...Oh, well. I'll just keep working on it.
 My husband and I are retired.
 I see my trainer for 60 mins three days a week and try to walk the other four days. The walking doesn't always work out.
