    Day 57—12/22— 149.8. trying to control my eating a bit more.

    Previous and Future Weeks
    Previous days' notes were lost when I got a new phone and my notes didn't get carried over. Copying and pasting from an old post proved to be too troublesome, especially for something that no one really needs or wants to re-read.

    Day 36—12/01— 148.7. I was expecting my weight to be up from my sick weight yesterday, but wasn't expecting this much. I ate yesterday, but still well under my calories as I wasn't feeling great. Oh well.

    Day 37—12/02— 149.1 :(

    Day 38—12/03— 148.3. I'm happy it came down a little.

    Day 39—12/04— 147.9.

    Day 40—12/05— 146.7. Woo-hoo! I'm super excited for this new low. Hopefully it'll stick for the end of the week goal

    Day 41—12/06— 147.0. I feel like I'm in the zone right now. I'm motivated, my healthy habits are taking hold and becoming routine, and I just feel like I'm doing things "right". I know this feeling won't last forever, but I'm going to try to hold on to it for a few more pounds at least.

    Day 42—12/07— 146.4. My boys are spending the weekend with Gramma, so I'll have some more time to myself today. Have some errands, chores and things to do, but hoping to also have some down time for Me Time and maybe a little extra at the gym.

    Day 43—12/08— 145.5. Hmmm... I'm dropping weight a bit too fast. Almost 2 pounds in 2 days? A bit of a woosh may have been building up, but I also think I'm a bit dehydrated. I haven't been focusing on water the last few days. So I'm going to try drinking more today, and see if my weight evens out a bit.

    Day 44—12/09— 147.2. I drank more water yesterday, putting me around where I think I should be. I gotta stay hydrated.

    Day 45—12/10—147.7. Took the day off from the gym, but went for a walk. Calories were just a smidge higher than I would like them to be. Going to pre-track my food today.

    Day 46—12/11— 147.7. Anxiety was pretty bad. Exercise was pretty scarce yesterday. Eating was okay.

    Day 47—12/12— 148.0. I was really tired yesterday so took it easy, again. Food wasn't the best. I'm going to do better today.

    Day 48—12/13— 146.4.

    Day 49—12/14— 148.0. My weight was everywhere this week. I'm just going to take this week's gain with a grain of salt.

    Day 57—12/22— 173.6 - The next several days will be challenging. Today I made 2 kinds of cookie dough ahead for baking tomorrow. .

    Day 58—12/23— 174.6 -- Cookie baking day with the grandkids. Will try to only taste the finished products.

    Day 59—12/24— 177.6 - I had plenty of exercise running around my ex's kitchen getting his dinner ready. I did indulge, but I planned to. This week is basically a write off.

    Day 60—12/25— Forgot to weigh

    Day 61—12/26— 179.6 - I expected it. And my back has been spasming for the last 2 days. Made the holiday less than pleasant. Today I am not doing anything and giving the back a chance to recover.

    The most that I have ever lost on one of these 100s is 7lbs.
    I am not sure what it is going to take, but I would like to get back to 130 and below.
    I started my weight loss journey because my doc threatened to put me on blood pressure medication for the rest of my life. I joined MFP at 198 pounds although I had been heavier than that.
    I lost enough weight to chase away high blood pressure, but now the doc is saying that my arthritis in knees, feet, and ankles would benefit greatly by me dropping another 30 pounds. That number used to be 15 pounds, but I have been gaining and gaining these last couple of years.
    I am an active person, and eat nutritious food.

    Day 57—12/22— 146.8 - Day off! It looks like I will be losing my Tuesdays off for the next couple of weeks. I don't like that at all, but I will definitely like a fatter paycheque. Plan for today is to putter around, do some pre-cooking (and logging), and do my very best to relax. It is melting here, and there is no ice skating again until the 19th of January for me at the arena. There won't be any cross-country skiing or skating on lakes on Christmas Day due to the melt. It is beautifully blue and sunny here today. As much as I love working in the public, a rare day when I don't have to see any people whatsoever is so lovely for me.

    Day 58—12/23— 147.4 - Low calorie day yesterday, but also low activity due to sore feet and my bad ankle. Not sorry to have taken it easy, too icy and wet to go walking anywhere. Of course I am not happy with a .6 gain. I think that I got out of my extra shift on my normal day off, Tuesday, tomorrow : - ) I will do an extra one on the NYE Tuesday. Sooo looking forward to tomorrow off. Just an 8 hour shift today.

    Day 59—12/24— 148.0 - Super busy workday yesterday, ran around like crazy. Weight is somehow up although I don't know why. Well, it is not going to deter me from some Champagne and Camembert this afternoon. Although I was begged to work on my day off today, I declined. I need the rest : - )

    Day 60—12/25— 149.2 - I was invited many places for Christmas, but just really wanted to unplug and chill. I did have a few wobbly pops and some more Camembert and unsalted cashews. Nothing over the top.

    Day 61—12/26— 150.2 - Well...nothing but Fitness Marshall for 2 days, barely any walking/steps at all. Back to work at the 2 jobs today, but a one hour later start than usual for Boxing Day. Now that I have been home for 2 days in a row I really liked it... a lot!! Back to split days off again for the foreseeable future. Happy holidays everyone : - )

    Beginning of Round Thoughts:
    I am Sick and Tired of being Sick and Tired. I mean, I am LITERALLY both Sick with many ailments and Tired of putting myself through this back & forth! I weighed 181.6 on January 1st, 2024. This has not been a good year for me. How much progress I can make in November, December and January is very very questionable, at the very least. Those months are riddled with holidays, baking pies and cakes, making cookies and fudge. Lots of decadent dishes high in calories and carbs. And lots of shopping excursions away from home which always include restaurants and long car rides. So many celebrations including multiple family birthdays as well! These are the hardest months of the year for most of us. But I’m not throwing in the towel just yet!. I will do ALL I can, As I can, When I can. Life is going to happen and I will definitely live it, but there are lots of days where progress can still be made and/or damages can be mitigated. I must stay steadfast and strong in my resolve. This is about my health journey, not just my weight journey. I will not give up based on what month the calendar page is on!

    Day 61-12/26-193.4-(Trend weight 192.3) Weight is exactly the same as yesterday and trend weight is creeping up. While I’m not happy with the scale reading, I will take it as a win. Yesterday was day 1 of baking with 6 batches of random cookies. I ate 5 over the course of the day and called it my lunch. It was also a pasta and bread dinner and Christmas movie night with son. With all of that, no weight change truly is a win for me. Today, much more baking and leftover pasta for dinner. I don’t expect the scale to go down tomorrow but if I can just stay stable I will be ever so grateful. Looking forward to our Family Dinner & Party on Saturday. Lots of prep yet to do!

    Day 62-12/27-194.0-(Trend weight 192.4) I think I would have been okay if I hadn’t got super duper hungry at 1:00 am. A meal at that hour is never good. I realized I’d missed any dinner during all my baking….I have more baking to do today and all the fudge/candy making so I’ll make sure to stop and eat at a reasonable hour. Another issue is that I was committed to only eating the cookies and lemon squares that fell apart when removing from the pans. My opportunity to taste test. It isn’t my fault so many broke! Okay, okay, so maybe it’s my fault I didn’t put a limit on that. Humph….facing the truth is hard but we choose our hard, right? Lots of housecleaning to do today as the family party and dinner is tomorrow. I can’t wait! I know it will be a lot of extra calories and carbs. Also wine and adult beverages I usually don’t have so it’s going to be a high count day tomorrow. I’m not too worried though. It may take a week or two but I’ll have it back down in the 190 point anything range pretty quickly as I rededicate for 2025. It’s nothing I can’t handle. Then I’ll move forward from there. T-plus 0.4 lbs gained with 5.6 pounds to go on the micro-mini goal. Double humph….

    sorry I've been m.i.a.; "kids" here just before Christmas used my computer and logged me out of every site so everything I wanted to check out or into, meant the whole process of remembering which password, 2 step verification etc etc. *sigh*. Think next time they visit I'll put my PC under the bed! lol

    Wt is stable; "diet" is, well, it def could be worse.

    Walked today (only a couple of inches of snow but it's covering ice everywhere), and did a 30 minute "myofacial tissue release" session; seated and mainly upper body. The stretches felt ohhh sooo gooood.

    Since there's a deadline for when my last shift will be I am sleeping oh so much better. My mind is totally embracing retirement ( they say 3rd times a charm).

    Previous days' notes were lost when I got a new phone and my notes didn't get carried over. Copying and pasting from an old post proved to be too troublesome, especially for something that no one really needs or wants to re-read.

    Day 36—12/01— 148.7. I was expecting my weight to be up from my sick weight yesterday, but wasn't expecting this much. I ate yesterday, but still well under my calories as I wasn't feeling great. Oh well.

    Day 38—12/03— 148.3. I'm happy it came down a little.

    Day 40—12/05— 146.7. Woo-hoo! I'm super excited for this new low. Hopefully it'll stick for the end of the week goal

    Day 41—12/06— 147.0. I feel like I'm in the zone right now. I'm motivated, my healthy habits are taking hold and becoming routine, and I just feel like I'm doing things "right". I know this feeling won't last forever, but I'm going to try to hold on to it for a few more pounds at least.

    Day 42—12/07— 146.4. My boys are spending the weekend with Gramma, so I'll have some more time to myself today. Have some errands, chores and things to do, but hoping to also have some down time for Me Time and maybe a little extra at the gym.

    Day 43—12/08— 145.5. Hmmm... I'm dropping weight a bit too fast. Almost 2 pounds in 2 days? A bit of a woosh may have been building up, but I also think I'm a bit dehydrated. I haven't been focusing on water the last few days. So I'm going to try drinking more today, and see if my weight evens out a bit.

    Day 44—12/09— 147.2. I drank more water yesterday, putting me around where I think I should be. I gotta stay hydrated.

    Day 45—12/10—147.7. Took the day off from the gym, but went for a walk. Calories were just a smidge higher than I would like them to be. Going to pre-track my food today.

    Day 46—12/11— 147.7. Anxiety was pretty bad. Exercise was pretty scarce yesterday. Eating was okay.

    Day 47—12/12— 148.0. I was really tired yesterday so took it easy, again. Food wasn't the best. I'm going to do better today.

    Beginning of Round Thoughts:
    I am Sick and Tired of being Sick and Tired. I mean, I am LITERALLY both Sick with many ailments and Tired of putting myself through this back & forth! I weighed 181.6 on January 1st, 2024. This has not been a good year for me. How much progress I can make in November, December and January is very very questionable, at the very least. Those months are riddled with holidays, baking pies and cakes, making cookies and fudge. Lots of decadent dishes high in calories and carbs. And lots of shopping excursions away from home which always include restaurants and long car rides. So many celebrations including multiple family birthdays as well! These are the hardest months of the year for most of us. But I’m not throwing in the towel just yet!. I will do ALL I can, As I can, When I can. Life is going to happen and I will definitely live it, but there are lots of days where progress can still be made and/or damages can be mitigated. I must stay steadfast and strong in my resolve. This is about my health journey, not just my weight journey. I will not give up based on what month the calendar page is on!

I realized I’d missed any dinner during all my baking….I have more baking to do today and all the fudge/candy making so I’ll make sure to stop and eat at a reasonable hour. Another issue is that I was committed to only eating the cookies and lemon squares that fell apart when removing from the pans. My opportunity to taste test. It isn’t my fault so many broke! Okay, okay, so maybe it’s my fault I didn’t put a limit on that. Humph….facing the truth is hard but we choose our hard, right? Lots of housecleaning to do today as the family party and dinner is tomorrow. I can’t wait! I know it will be a lot of extra calories and carbs. Also wine and adult beverages I usually don’t have so it’s going to be a high count day tomorrow. I’m not too worried though. It may take a week or two but I’ll have it back down in the 190 point anything range pretty quickly as I rededicate for 2025. It’s nothing I can’t handle. Then I’ll move forward from there. T-plus 0.4 lbs gained with 5.6 pounds to go on the micro-mini goal. Double humph….

    Day 62—12/27— 150.4 - Another rise in weight. I feel leaner than that, banner day yesterday topping out at 1190 calories with lots of activity between my workout and 2 jobs. Patience Dawn.

    Heehee, well I sure can woosh upwards Donna. Bringing it back down is like molasses. Unusual for me not to have TMI for 4+ days, I am usually like clockwork.

    The most that I have ever lost on one of these 100s is 7lbs.
    I am not sure what it is going to take, but I would like to get back to 130 and below.
    I started my weight loss journey because my doc threatened to put me on blood pressure medication for the rest of my life. I joined MFP at 198 pounds although I had been heavier than that.
    I lost enough weight to chase away high blood pressure, but now the doc is saying that my arthritis in knees, feet, and ankles would benefit greatly by me dropping another 30 pounds. That number used to be 15 pounds, but I have been gaining and gaining these last couple of years.
    I am an active person, and eat nutritious food.

    Day 57—12/22— 146.8 - Day off! It looks like I will be losing my Tuesdays off for the next couple of weeks. I don't like that at all, but I will definitely like a fatter paycheque. Plan for today is to putter around, do some pre-cooking (and logging), and do my very best to relax. It is melting here, and there is no ice skating again until the 19th of January for me at the arena. There won't be any cross-country skiing or skating on lakes on Christmas Day due to the melt. It is beautifully blue and sunny here today. As much as I love working in the public, a rare day when I don't have to see any people whatsoever is so lovely for me.

    Day 58—12/23— 147.4 - Low calorie day yesterday, but also low activity due to sore feet and my bad ankle. Not sorry to have taken it easy, too icy and wet to go walking anywhere. Of course I am not happy with a .6 gain. I think that I got out of my extra shift on my normal day off, Tuesday, tomorrow : - ) I will do an extra one on the NYE Tuesday. Sooo looking forward to tomorrow off. Just an 8 hour shift today.

    Day 59—12/24— 148.0 - Super busy workday yesterday, ran around like crazy. Weight is somehow up although I don't know why. Well, it is not going to deter me from some Champagne and Camembert this afternoon. Although I was begged to work on my day off today, I declined. I need the rest : - )

    Day 60—12/25— 149.2 - I was invited many places for Christmas, but just really wanted to unplug and chill. I did have a few wobbly pops and some more Camembert and unsalted cashews. Nothing over the top.

    Day 61—12/26— 150.2 - Well...nothing but Fitness Marshall for 2 days, barely any walking/steps at all. Back to work at the 2 jobs today, but a one hour later start than usual for Boxing Day. Now that I have been home for 2 days in a row I really liked it... a lot!! Back to split days off again for the foreseeable future. Happy holidays everyone : - )

    Day 62—12/27— 150.4 - Another rise in weight. I feel leaner than that, banner day yesterday topping out at 1190 calories with lots of activity between my workout and 2 jobs. Patience Dawn.

    Day 63—12/28— 150.0 - Slow getting out of bed this past week, hitting "snooze" many times on my alarm. Off to work shortly at Spice Hut, the Indian restaurant that I work at. I like it here and get Fitness Marshall songs in at the staff table when there aren't any customers.

    Day 57—12/22— 173.6 - The next several days will be challenging. Today I made 2 kinds of cookie dough ahead for baking tomorrow. .

    Day 58—12/23— 174.6 -- Cookie baking day with the grandkids. Will try to only taste the finished products.

    Day 59—12/24— 177.6 - I had plenty of exercise running around my ex's kitchen getting his dinner ready. I did indulge, but I planned to. This week is basically a write off.

    Day 60—12/25— Forgot to weigh

    Day 61—12/26— 179.6 - I expected it. And my back has been spasming for the last 2 days. Made the holiday less than pleasant. Today I am not doing anything and giving the back a chance to recover.

    Day 62—12/27— 178.4 - Today will be another recovery day. Back is somewhat improved so I want that to continue. Bought a Mega Millions ticket. Probably the last time I will mention that. 😂


    Day 63—12/28— 178 - Back is still tight and I wasn't able to stand in the kitchen for more than 5 minutes before I felt pain. Not enough time to make a breakfast....hopefully lunch will be easier.

    Day 62—12/27: 177.8 Still off plan but at least wrote what I ate. 40 minute winter walk and 30 min movements to promote myofascial tissue release.

    Day 63—12/28: 177.6 Shoulders are a bit sore after y’day’s video; a lot of arm / shoulder movements. Joined hubby for “his” breakfast; have used 30% of my daily point allotment. Questioning if the pancakes’ were “worthy”.

    Previous days' notes were lost when I got a new phone and my notes didn't get carried over. Copying and pasting from an old post proved to be too troublesome, especially for something that no one really needs or wants to re-read.

    Day 36—12/01— 148.7. I was expecting my weight to be up from my sick weight yesterday, but wasn't expecting this much. I ate yesterday, but still well under my calories as I wasn't feeling great. Oh well.

    Day 43—12/08— 145.5. Hmmm... I'm dropping weight a bit too fast. Almost 2 pounds in 2 days? A bit of a woosh may have been building up, but I also think I'm a bit dehydrated. I haven't been focusing on water the last few days. So I'm going to try drinking more today, and see if my weight evens out a bit.

    Day 44—12/09— 147.2. I drank more water yesterday, putting me around where I think I should be. I gotta stay hydrated.

    Day 45—12/10—147.7. Took the day off from the gym, but went for a walk. Calories were just a smidge higher than I would like them to be. Going to pre-track my food today.

    Day 46—12/11— 147.7. Anxiety was pretty bad. Exercise was pretty scarce yesterday. Eating was okay.

    I’ve been off my sore foot the past three days, and am totally unmotivated to post here. So few steps makes me feel like “old me”, who stayed sofa-bound and ate and ate and gained and gained.

    I know it’s all in my head, but even the dog is depressed and willing me to take him on our usual mile+ walks we do several times a day. (My husband just takes him around the block.) The dog is jet black and the sight of the whites of his eyes (the only feature you can see in that depth of blackness) following me around the room are….pressuring me?

    My trainer was off last week. She’s back this week, and I’ve got several 90 minute lap swims scheduled, too. Swimming doesn’t bother my foot at all.

    But on the plus side, have made huge progress on my most recent project (I do needlework to keep my hands out of my mouth!!!). This is bedspread weight cotton thread, not yarn. I have (easily) several hundred hours in this so far.

    @Zaxa2021 , I swear by hot tea, honey, lemon and a shot of good whiskey. The cheap stuff doesn't work. I am not a whiskey drinker (not much of anything but an occasional wine drinker), but I keep a bottle on hand strictly for coughs.
