debating on whether to go to dance class or wrap gifts tonight...

Dance class sounds more fun to me. Is it wrong that I paid my niece to wrap christmas gifts for me? 😅

Local restaurant ad keeps popping up on me.
How can I think of anything else?!

The last batch of potatoes I bought have a sour taste and my regular Airfryer recipe doesn't taste well without mayo. Will try to come up with some ideas just to use those potatoes until they finish... never buying them from that place again.

Haven't heard Christmas carols like I usually do. Realized I haven't been shopping much. I never thought I'd ever miss them, but I do.

    Bit tipsy.

I seldom drink at all outside of Christmas and cut my first drink of the season tonight. It's past my bedtime but everything's spinning a little. Again.

I should have bought more bags so I wouldn’t have to wrap so many boxes.

I think I'm odd cause I love wrapping gifts. I have a room dedicated to gift wrapping at Christmas. I match the wrap and tag to the person. I was able to find skate tags this year even!!!

On my mind too is how I seem to be elected the person at my in laws to be the cheerful person who conducts the convo. As the sister in law and i did dishes I was in charge of asking questions to start convos. Before that I had to smooth over the incident of a nice bottle of wine being opened at the wrong time. Life would be easier if people just didn't take it so seriously

That used to be my role also, when I was younger and the entire family would be in one room.

I also used to really get into wrapping gifts.
The buying of the perfect gift for each person was big for me too.
I used to get so many compliments about the wrapped packages.

I’ve resorted to bags now, sometimes I just write the name on a homemade tag.
    So lazy.
I do still work hard at getting gifts that I think people will really like.

I'm halfway there. Anything clothing went in a bag this year. (Especially since stores stopped giving gift boxes.) I still wrapped boxes if it wasn't a sweater, etc.

It’s over, I’m home, my back is hurting, my feet hurt, the food was delicious, the grandkids loved their gifts, I am DONE.

    Yesterday I slept until 2:00pm.
Today, I could have easily slept most of the day away but I forced myself to get up and out.
Now, I’m ready for sleep again.

Why can’t people just be real and honest.

I’m starting the new year off line and the old fashioned way in the real world taking to people face to face, no more of this fake nonsense.. be healthy and happy everyone 😊

The people that live directly across the creek from me added a new floodlight that was on all night.
I took this photo standing in my study doorway which is next to my bedroom.

This irritates the hell out of me. 😡

I’m curious, would it irritate you?
    What would you do?

It would definitely irritate me. Why does it have to be on all night?

    So proud of the Broncos!
Earned a spot in the NCAA Division II Football Championship, they broke 19 school records.
I get to listen to the games from my house, I live close by.

Wishing you a speedy recovery… sprains can be just as painful and take longer to heal 🤗

It's annoying and of course at skating I was determined to figure something out with a friend that uses the sore arm
