Sitting and thinking about these temps. Wondering if I come from really bad bloodlines. Surely there was something critically wrong with my lineage if they chose to settle in a place like this. And surely I’m continuing the lunacy by not leaving. You know, the usual winter pondering.3

Considering my family immigrated from Italy, on cold days as such I get resentful as well. But then, I’m reminded of the comfort I have living here in Canada and I become grateful. The reality is I am blessed with commodities they don’t have the privilege to enjoy.0 -

Well let’s get the facts straight here! I’m merely self consoling. 🤣 This week was approximately -20 and felt like -30 and you have no idea how many times I had the thought of packing everything up and leaving the country. 😫1 -

Riding in the back of a sprinter van - driving from Jackson, MS to New Orleans (after flying commercial to ATL on Tuesday then on a private plane to Jackson yesterday). I can't wait for this job to actually start and then be over.1
