Hello Garden. You can do it. You just have to keep doing it. Use this site to lose the weight and stay on the sight to help you maintain that weight loss.

@13loulou87 , our thoughts definitely affect the direction we are headed in this regard. Little steps of changing habits with consistency. You can do this!
@VallieeeBabe I understand your frustration. May you have continued success this time in this regard!

Hang in there! I am back again as well. The good thing about starting over, at least for me, is that I do it from a better/smarter place each time. I know how to do it now and I generally make myself reboot a little quicker each time. Someday I'm going to just accept that tracking food isn't optional for me, hopefully that day is today!
We've got this!

Oh my goodness, I just looked to see when I was last on the forums. This was my last post from 2 years ago:
Age 40 Height: 5'8 CW: 152 End of March goal 148 Daily goal: Keep alternating cardio and strength workouts x5/week and log meals every day. Longer term goal: I want to do a section hike of the AT while visiting colleges with my oldest next year.
Today? Well, I'm up 11 pounds. I didn't get to day hike the AT as my kid changed which colleges she wanted to look at. Still, I am encouraged to know I have done this before and can build on previous attempts.

I've been on and off this app too many times, over the years. I'm going to be realistic with myself this time. I'm here for three months to get in shape for the summer. Hopefully, I'm going to lose weight and put back some muscle. So I understand the frustration of trying to lose the weight.

I am back, again (sigh), as well. However, this time, the tracking is a lot easier, which is encouraging. I have lost 25lbs each time I tracked my food, and have gained it all back each time I stopped tracking.
My two biggest takeaways:
- Don’t beat yourself up when you go “over” on calories-instead congratulate yourself for being bold enough to count and track them! If you track them, you win!
- Tracking my food is a lifestyle, not a temporary habit.
That’s it! That’s my two takeaways I learned from my past experiences.
Let’s do this!
