Thanks Machka! I’ll try it on some of our dish towels, thought they were hopeless. Looks like mfp has "upgraded" again, color codes not working nor is the [img] I've saved, had to add it using the picture button.

Tina glad to see you back, sorry about the mister’s leg. Yours about who gets to decide where the toilet paper holder goes made me snort my water!

Only skimmed through pg 5 but a teensy headache is hinting that it might be time for dinner.

    Later, lighter, lovelies!

I have always liked having music going when I work. Helps me focus and make the time pass. Plus silence is almost painful with my tinnitus.

And no, my tinnitus is not related to loud noise.

I've never liked loud noise or loud music.

Tina - I was telling my husband about your husband's leg breaks and he said it reminded him of a joke by his favourite comedian, Tommy Cooper.

"I broke my leg in two places. Eastbourne and Bournemouth. "

Done my Waitrose order for tomorrow. It's coming between 1pm and 2pm, in an electrically powered van. 😃 I've ordered Chinese crispy duck again.

Good Morning…I got my resistance training for the week yesterday. shoveled out half my driveway and helped two different people get there cars unstuck on our street. Turns out we got 9 inches of heavy wet snow. Drew didn't do much walking yesterday. She hates rain and snow. Should be better today. I will try later to get to my sonson's house. I will let the warmer temps that are coming take care of his deck but I'll make sure his walk got done.

I emailed choir director and said snowed in so I didn't even attempt to go to choir practice last night. One thing to get stuck during the day I did not want to risk getting stuck at night. I keep my music at home and she posts the music for us to practice online. Hope to get to it later today.

Going to friend's house for lunch. I am taking a berry fruit salad because I know it has a low glycemic index. She asked if I eat cookies she is planning to make cookies using a cake mix. I told her I will pass but if she wants to make them for her and our other friend who is coming I have no problem with others eating these in front of me. I guess that is not quite true. I am not tempted at all but I don't like watching them eat them because I now know how bad they are for their health. I love them and want them to stay healthy. I do know I have to let others make decisions about what they eat for themselves. It is true for how others spend money, too. In matters of eating and spending I can only create habits that I know are healthy for me.

He isn't stubborn, just a large goofball! When you talk to him, his face moves like he's trying to understand you, then he says "roh-roh" low like "whatever".😂😂

Betsy- Sooooo delighted for your sister and you.🤩 You have been such a great support to her.

John back from lunch. He did have fish and chips and a good chat. He always seems so happy when he's seen his friend. I'm just going to make scrambled eggs on granary toast for dinner, as we've both had a good lunch. We have stewed plums for dessert.

Edie wants to come over on Saturday when Bea is at theatre school. I told her on Tuesday that we would love to see her anytime. I expect we'll do 'Art'. 😂

I like it a lot better, easier to read for me. Course I do have tablet to largest font setting!🙃😁

I don't like how when you start typing a new row, it double types your words for some reason. But the lines seem better spaced.👍🏼

😀 Congrats on maintaining a new habit. Don't compare yourself with others, it never ends well. When I started walking dogs on a dailyish basis, I walked for about 15 minutes. It took a long time to get to the long walks I do now.

ps….; I’m liking what we can do with the new format now. I also contacted support about adding a search option to the new emoji choices.

    Hi ladies,

I have done a tiny bit of reading on dementia and how to keep it at bay and everything seems to agree on 3 things - stay active, stay social, and learn new things…. So I think I'll switch up the changes on MFP to say they did it to force us to get comfortable learning something new…. Lowering our weight, keeping us social and forcing us to learn something new….

    Thanks MFP!!!!😎
