Seeing more muscle definition after a winter spent lifting. Sure, it's under some fat but my silhouette is no longer just roundedness, there are actual bulges where muscles live beneath. I like that!

Went from a size 18-20 to a size 12. Still determined to keep losing. Now I have years of way too big clothes to get rid of.

@TrekkieLianne , amazing! Great job 👏🏻
@patriciafoley1 outstanding! Keep up the good success!7 -
Planned to spend 12 days helping a family member move into a new home in a rural European town. Ended up spending almost a month.
Typically on a two week trip, I go nuts and come back 20,000 or so calories above goal.
This trip, which was twice as long as normal, including flight today (I’m an airport nosher), I expect to be about 5,500 total over.
I brought a quality yoga mat with me and have been stretching regularly, and went running many mornings, in addition to moving furniture, the constant cleaning during and after renovation work we were living in, and just working my bottom off in general.I did enjoy local doughnuts and a large bowl of coffee every morning, but made it a point to walk the two miles round trip to the bakery to “earn” them.
I found the scale while unpacking and was pleased that I was maintaining. Can’t wait to see if the scale at home confirms.
Felt much more in control this trip, for a change. I feel like it was an “I don’t have to try everything, choose what’s most appealing” travel turning point.

I can button my gray wool cardigan from Banana Republic ($1.50 thrift store find) again. I love this thing. It is so cozy and it goes with everything I own. I'll love it more when it is a little looser, but it looks perfectly respectable as is.

I experienced 3 NSV's today. 1st was being able to wear a pair of mid calf boots and they zipped up!! My calves have always been to big to fit nice boots. 2nd, I wore a blouse that I bought just before Christmas which was snug on the tummy and it fit much better today. There was room to move in the tummy area and 3rd was that I'm able to wear a bra that I hadn't been able to wear for quite some time as it was too tight around the band and digging in. It's amazing how such small victories can help boost someone's mood 😊

@mamana3 I too have experienced the calves too wide for nice boots. Even when I was 115-125 and riding horses I always had to buy wide calf riding boots. Fortunately I don't have that problem with all the snow boots I've bought over the last few years. And I will worry about riding boots if and when that happens. I'm pretty old (68) for horseback riding and while i'd like to, I will wait until I have reached goal weight (ten pounds more) and then I might start looking to lease a nice quiet horse.

I was at work conference in Vegas last month and was oh so surprised when I slipped into my suit from a year ago and it fit just right to where I actually needed the belt to keep the pants up hahaha….felt goooood that night strolling the conference activities 😂😂

I have less than 100lbs to lose! I've changed my goal weight a few times. From my starting weight, I wanted to lose about 150lbs. Now I want to lose another 55-77lbs. Yay! A more manageable number.

I’ve gone down a pant size and my belt is almost two big now.

I feel healthy! Usually I'd have a diet full of snacks, junk food, takeout and sugar, but I've been abstaining for the last 16 days.

I no longer wonder whether I will be able to keep up with people when I go do stuff with someone. Walking/standing around, going up stairs… it's all easy, and I'm one of the faster people in the group now while not even getting out of breath. I used to avoid going places with people who I knew would leave me in the dust 🤣

I had three pieces of pizza today instead of the twelve I wanted (only half kidding)

Wearing a shirt that isn't tight over my stomach any more. It was great to see space between myself and the fabric.

This weekend, the weather was finally decent enough for us to go hiking (it did rain a bit). We did what we previously considered to be one of our "hard" trails. The last time we hiked this same trail was October 12. This time, it was easy! We averaged a 4-minute-per-mile faster pace and my average heart rate was 14 bpm lower than it had been back in October. Overall, the nearly five-mile hike took us 20 minutes less than it did in October!

my A1c just came back! 5.6!!!

My distances running that started as long distances are "just" distances now.
Instead of, "wow, I have a long 5k run today" it's "oh, it's just a 5k today"
Took me a while to notice the mental shift, but it's been so encouraging!

wasnt able to upgrade my popcorn at the movies and was satisfied with a medium.

Still maintaining. I've gained 2 pounds this month.....up to 136 pounds....but well within Normal weight. I looked at my Report over the last year. I've lost exactly 40 pounds in ONE YEAR 🫢. 176 on March 20th 2024. It certainly puts my 2 pound gain into perspective. I completely stopped doing yoga.…my NSV is my 28 inch waist, 35 inch hips, 18 inch thighs and 9 inch upper arms. My bust is 37.5....I am an Upper Hourglass figure. 😊

Didn't want to but pushed myself to go for a walk. Then pushed myself to go to the gym. I've been upping my walking lately. It's helping my mood and giving me some extra calories=NSV! 😊

I’m still traveling. Been on the road for almost six weeks. Stayed a few days after my tour wrapped up, to take a couple of backstrap weaving classes. Home Wednesday.
As said before, travel is usually “I want it all! Have to try! Once in a lifetime!” I suffer from FOMF :Fear of Missing Food
Even though I’m currently taste testing Guatemalan hot chocolate everywhere I can find it- despite the heat- I’m not snacking otherwise. Have only touched the protein bars I brought to shift them around in my bags.
The food has been so good and soooo filling, i don’t need to. Had some celebratory “dulces typico” yesterday with a friend before she left and still only a couple hundred over.
Have already pre-logged lunch and dinner for today, will finish up to lovely almond cookies we got yesterday.
I feel bloated and uncomfortable, but this time have enough background to know it’s altitude and not Sudden Fat Onset.
It’s so nice to feel in control for a change and to actually forget about wanting to eat I hope this sticks around permanently Habits supposedly take six weeks to create, or so I read20 -
Walked to "town", the main intersection near me, for the first time since winter started. I wasn't sure I could make it because I'm not very active in the winter. It was beautiful and easy. I started out to Braums for a double brownie caramel Sundae. On the way, I asked if that was really what I wanted in the middle of a healthy walk. Had a small frozen yogurt in a cup instead!
Triple win! Natural vitamin D on a beautiful day. Exercise. A healthier food choice.

For the first time someone noticed that I've lost weight! I'm about 9 weeks in and didn't expect that to happen for a while! The NSV is that it's becoming visible! The funny part is that this person and I have only known each other for three weeks or so. I recently had a big whoosh though which probably helped :)
