@takinitalloff Thank you!! Lol I still remember our three member accountability group that I started two Yeats ago. We were so careful to get in our daily 10 minute walks!! And if I didn't feel like it, I saw you did yours and it was just 10 minutes.....that little group had me walking daily for 10, 15, 20 and finally 25 minutes. I remember our other member loved her walks and before long was regularly walking 20 minutes! This year I'm now seriously considering training for a 10km run. It's been YEARS. βΊοΈ
I was just thinking about our walking group the other day, too! I wasn't ready for your training schedule at the time, but just so you know, you did inspire me to walk more. Lately I've been focusing on trails that have more elevation changes -- so far, so good! I have no doubt you will do your 10km run when the time is right6 -

I went from 28.4 when I started this latest go round of exercise, (Which was still excellent BTW) to 32-36. I think that is pretty darn good.
Keep up the good work.

Felt really tired today- allowed myself to take the morning really slow. Then pep talked myself into a 40" bike workout before dinner. After dinner I realized I hadn't done my exercises for my 30 day challenge. I was surprised how easily I was able to accomplish my 3 rounds of 5 types of jumping jacks (a total of 300 jacks) plus 5 rounds of 24 elbow to knees (R&L). It felt good to know my body is getting stronger.16

My NVS is fitting into L clothes again, and being able to shop in superdry for the very first time in my life ππ

A NSV for me today was in the area of not participating in internal negative self talk or self hatred.
My husband and I went clothes shopping. I did not like how a lot of the clothes looked or fit me.
In the past, I would become disgusted, buy nothing and sink into depression.Today though I felt discouraged. My internal self talk is, βthis is where I currently am in my journey.β
I am choosing healthier habits and am heading in a direction that will aid me in looking and feeling better in the clothes I like!

I can fit back into 80% of my wardrobe. It will look better in another 5-10 pounds, but I'm no longer stuck wearing stuff I hate.
In an ideal world, I would dress nicely at any size, but my budget doesn't exist in an ideal world.

After having bought new pants last week, this weekend I went through my entire dresser and closet and threw out or donated all of the old clothes that were too big and moved some clothes that had previously been too small for me back into my daily rotation.

My blood pressure was excellent. I was surprised I got any positive results at the doctor because my eating has been so poor. Also down 4 kg since my last doctors appointment.

After four months of low carb dieting, my blood sugar was 133 this am. Not ideal, but a whole lot better than before (70 points or more higher), and without drugs. Hoping in another three month to get it to 100.

Even my NSV is to take a selfie with my daughters and see the dimples on my face again. I am inching closer to my goal and hopefully by the end of this year i will achieve that
