aced a chore that’s been silently, judgily teetering on a counter for months, am half way through another that’s been nagging me for years, and see an end game for a large box of papers that have been hiding in the garage needing to be dealt with.
@springlering62 Haha this is great, and sooo relatable! I started a project sometime last year of dealing with one ANNOYANCE every day (well, most days). You know, things (like the ones you are describing) that live rent-free on the edge of our consciousness. Somewhere along the line, I realized that these things suck so much of my brainpower, leaving me feeling overwhelmed/frustrated/unorganized/powerless/distracted.

So once a day (usually) I get up and walk around my place, looking for an ANNOYANCE to remove from my life. Things I've been looking at for a while, thinking "mañana" each time. Sometimes it's a quick, small thing like tidying up a couple things that are out of place, or cleaning a grubby light switch. Sometimes it snowballs into an all-day project. But whatever it turns out to be, by the time it's complete, I feel lighter and happier. The compound effect of doing this for several months is really making a difference in my life.

Kudos to you for making the best of your snow days. Way to go!
