My distances running that started as long distances are "just" distances now.
Instead of, "wow, I have a long 5k run today" it's "oh, it's just a 5k today"
Took me a while to notice the mental shift, but it's been so encouraging!

Still maintaining. I've gained 2 pounds this month.....up to 136 pounds....but well within Normal weight. I looked at my Report over the last year. I've lost exactly 40 pounds in ONE YEAR 🫢. 176 on March 20th 2024. It certainly puts my 2 pound gain into perspective. I completely stopped doing yoga.…my NSV is my 28 inch waist, 35 inch hips, 18 inch thighs and 9 inch upper arms. My bust is 37.5....I am an Upper Hourglass figure. 😊

Didn't want to but pushed myself to go for a walk. Then pushed myself to go to the gym. I've been upping my walking lately. It's helping my mood and giving me some extra calories=NSV! 😊

I’m still traveling. Been on the road for almost six weeks. Stayed a few days after my tour wrapped up, to take a couple of backstrap weaving classes. Home Wednesday.
As said before, travel is usually “I want it all! Have to try! Once in a lifetime!” I suffer from FOMF :Fear of Missing Food
Even though I’m currently taste testing Guatemalan hot chocolate everywhere I can find it- despite the heat- I’m not snacking otherwise. Have only touched the protein bars I brought to shift them around in my bags.
The food has been so good and soooo filling, i don’t need to. Had some celebratory “dulces typico” yesterday with a friend before she left and still only a couple hundred over.
Have already pre-logged lunch and dinner for today, will finish up to lovely almond cookies we got yesterday.
I feel bloated and uncomfortable, but this time have enough background to know it’s altitude and not Sudden Fat Onset.
It’s so nice to feel in control for a change and to actually forget about wanting to eat I hope this sticks around permanently Habits supposedly take six weeks to create, or so I read15 -

Walked to "town", the main intersection near me, for the first time since winter started. I wasn't sure I could make it because I'm not very active in the winter. It was beautiful and easy. I started out to Braums for a double brownie caramel Sundae. On the way, I asked if that was really what I wanted in the middle of a healthy walk. Had a small frozen yogurt in a cup instead!
Triple win! Natural vitamin D on a beautiful day. Exercise. A healthier food choice.
