    Aww, thanks a lot @quilteryoyo

The idiot part: I hiked through a forest with needles all across the floor, steep up and down. And then decided in the evening to do a barbell session on top. It might have been a bit too much. And yeah, my strength did suffer 😂

@angf0679 I'm in London! We get smarties here.

Think Coffee crisp chocolate bars and ketchup flavour crisps are the only two Canadian Canadian things that you don't see here on in the States (that taste delicious too!)

Made the mistake of not having it at the end of the night after a pub crawl but having that for lunch after a long run a couple of years ago. Slept for like 5 hours during the afternoon it was that heavy

@tarun_yadavA What I found funny was when looking at Ketchup flavoured pringles, to see where they were made, they were made in Texas! Yet you can't get them there!

My hamstring is not feeling as tight this morning. I am planning on going for an easy run at lunch.

@Laurz9191 That's terrible, sorry to hear your home got flooded.

Great run @kgirlhart . What is it with our ankles lately? I hope it is fine tomorrow.

That's a lot of shoveling @chris_in_cal . I hope you aren't too sore tomorrow. What was the shoveling all about? Garden?

    Sounds like a great day @ContraryMaryMary .

@yirara That doesn't sound too idiotic, just like a lot. I hope you aren't too sore today.

Nice run @tarun_yadavA . You are very adventurous with food. Sometimes I wish I was, but I prefer to stick to things I know I like.

Nice run @Teresa502 . I'm glad your friend wasn't hurt worse.

@Laurz9191 Wow. Sorry about the flood. Yeah, those workers didn't have a very good plan. Good job getting a run in. Odd that the lady would complain about you talking at the gym. One of the things I don't like as much about my current gym is that very few people talk to each other. At the other one, we all became friends.

You're doing great @angf0679 . I hope your hamstring continues to behave.

You are also doing great @John772016 .

Sorry to hear you have decided to leave MFP @tri_2_lose_weight .

    Sounds like a great run @kgirlhart .

You are doing amazingly well @SummerSkier . Wow. I'm glad you are all okay and hope the other neighbor is too. That's scary. Did the tire have an airbag? It sure looks like one.

Hey Commonwealth people, we in the USA know nothing of "Parkrun" do you think it could work over here in the States?

    Morning all

    Got in 5.0M at 10'01

@quilteryoyo I'm actually quite boring. Same bar, same brewery, same restaurants... Only when I'm abroad I like to see how other ppl love/eat. Human Geography if you will

@Laurz9191 I'm sure you're not meant to talk in the gym in Germany! (There is always a LiamCarps clip! )

That's awesome @chris_in_cal . Glad you aren't sore today. Be sure to move around a lot today, or the DOMS could really set in. Of course, your weight training has probably helped with that.

@tarun_yadavA Great run. I never thought of you as "boring." At least you are adventurous when you travel. Funny video.

True, and the parkrun page is full of Britishisms, and there are about 80 clubs in the country. (probably half active.) That's like having one active club for the combined population of Australia and New Zealand.

Statistically speaking it isn't happening yet…though hats off to the intrepid folks out there pioneering the effort. I can't say I completely get it, but a YouTube runner I follow talks about doing them in the UK, as a way of visiting a different city or area, getting a run in, and seeing a bit of the area. Sounds nice.

I may not be the person to spearhead bringing it to my continent…but who knows.

Do you ever participate @ContraryMaryMary? How close is your nearest Parkrun?

Great vid, "yup" those are the personal stereotypes I hold too. :)
