You're doing great @WarmJellyfish . Getting started back after time off is hard.

It can be a great way to find friendly runners in a new city.

It really sounds like a great, sort of organic way, of having runners find each other, run, and cultivate community.

Again, we all here in this thread ahould meetup in Auckland and do your parkeun with you…soon

@Laurz9191 So stressful!! How's your house?

@ContraryMaryMary New Zealand is a place my husband and I have wanted to visit for a while but it will probably be a few more years. It is a mega trip and we want to be able to visit for a while.

Oh no @martaindale, that’s very unfortunate, and bad timing too. Even if you are feeling better in three weeks you’ll probably be weak and prone to reinfection. Feel better soon, and take it easy. Stretching is good.

@martaindale I'm glad your legs are feeling better but BOOOO for having the flu! That's awful. I hope you feel better soon and that you are able to defer your race to next year.

Getting faster again @tarun_yadavA . Looks like the insoles are doing their magic.

    Nice @Mari33a .

You're doing great with your running @John772016 . Be careful out there with that weather. Freezing rain is the WORST!

Nice running @kgirlhart . Can you lace your new shoes differently to see if that alleviates the issue? I'm glad it's not your ankle. Glad you and your dog didn't get skunk sprayed.

Wow @SummerSkier ! You are really doing great! Love the bluebonnets. And, I agree. I miss being able to put the pictures in the spoiler. I did look it up a couple of weeks ago and they are supposed to be working on that. I hope they get it back soon. I also miss the preview button.

@angf0679 - I understand the frustration when you miss out on getting your exercise done and how it effects everything else. Try and fit in even 10 to 15 mins of a run during the day if you can and maybe twice. It will make you feel a lot better than if you have nothing at all to record.

@angf0679 Sorry you're struggling right now. Remember it doesn't have to be a "workout" to be meaningful. A quick walk around the church is a great idea to find a few minutes in a busy day to move around and set future you up for success. You'll figure out how to make it work for you and your schedule. I definitely have a way I prefer to do runs - first thing in a morning after a cup of coffee and not being rushed. Unfortunately that ideal situation only happens 1-2 days a week. While it's harder to get out the door when situations aren't ideal I'm always glad I did it afterwards. You got this!!
