I got home really late from work. This was a quick dinner pulled together from sous vide lamb shoulder we had in the freezer turned into satay after 5 minutes in the air fryer, leftover satay sauce from last week, leftover pomelo salad from Saturday, fried rice made from leftover rice we had in the freezer and some bok choi cooked up fresh.

We still had some roast chicken leftover from Saturday night's dinner party so I did the dinner of avgolemono soup and greek salad again. We didn't have any chicken stock in the freezer so I just used a stock cube which was still good. Soup was a more attractive pale colour.

I have a lot of produce I'm trying to get through, and didn't feel like cooking so lunch was a snack plate.

Big brunch because we skipped dinner last night, being too full from a late lunch with out of town visitors. A semi brown focaccia because I didn't have enough white flour. Amazed that the bread turned out fine, because I was almost out of yeast too, and only used half the amount that the recipe called for. Followed instructions for bread baking during a yeast shortage where the trick was proving in a closed oven warned with only the light bulb. That rescued the yeast population. Served with a little smear of pesto and serrano ham and braesola. Cheat's soup au pistou, seeing as I had homemade pesto. That's two handfuls of frozen mixed veg, a tin of white beans warmed up with stock cube with a big dollop of pesto in each bowl. A really quick, easy, delicious vegetable soup to make when there is nothing in the fridge. Works okay with a jar store bought pesto. The souffle's planned for last night's dinner went to the air fryer this morning.

Does anyone know how to make the photos smaller? I selected small but it still looks big. What am I missing? Thanks!

We were full from our starter of Turkish salad so only had a mini serving of the planned potato gnocchi with pesto.
