Weight gain status

Since there aren't many of us with this particular goal, I thought I'd create a thread where we gainers could share our status, issues, concerns, or questions. I think we could all learn much from each other and get some support as needed.
I'll start. I'm recovering from an illness and dealing with golfers elbow, so it's not been the best past few months for working out and nutrition. I'm getting back into things slowly but surely. As a hardgainer, it's been extra annoying, hehe.

Looking forward to getting back to bulking, I've been on a cut which feels like it's been lasting forever but has yielded good results (down 23lbs, looking good in the mirror). Just a few more weeks will be my birthday, trying to get BF% lower by then so any future gains are more apparent. My days of being single-digit BF% are decades in my rear view mirror, but I'm already down to sub-15% and falling.
Not sure which I'm looking forward to more…bigger muscles, better performance in the gym, or simply getting to eat more! lol

That's great! Nice progress.
Hehe, I'd say all 3 of those things will feel great.
On the cutting note, yeah, it has sucked here. It was involuntary on my case, due to sickness. I'm so ready to eat for a bulk again, hehe.

After getting over some bad stomach issues and managing an elbow injury, I am finally getting back to regular lifting again. I lost a bit of weight from not eating as much, so that wrecked everything and set me back from my weekly goals considerably. Feeling skinny and weak af lately, so I hope to not have any more unfortunate interruptions for a while.
How is everyone else doing?

Three more weeks on my cut before I transition to maintenance, and that surge of calories should do wonders for my workouts.

Nice, good luck!

This being my birthday week coming up, and my son home from the Army on leave to celebrate his birthday with us, I'm calling my cut phase officially over so I can enjoy the eating guilt-free this coming week, lol.
Final tally was down 25+ lbs, down several inches around the waist as well, with small drops of measurements across chest, biceps and thighs, but not significant ones. I will settle into a maintenance phase for a few months to prove I have a good grasp on my daily calorie needs, before I move into actually trying to slow bulk.

Nice, happy early birthday. Enjoy having your son home, and enjoy some good eating. Kudos on your cutting progress, too. I think you'll have no problem switching to the eventual slow bulk.

I'm going on vacation with the family this coming week, so I'm preparing mentally for a pause in the regularly scheduled training and eating routine. I've gained 0.4 pounds since my last weigh in a week ago. It's not much, but I'll take any little win.
