I hope the insurance covers your scan @kgirlhart . Glad you got your run in before the storms hit.

    Thanks @chris_in_cal .

Hahaha! Thanks for the porn @tarun_yadavA . I hope the knee brace helps and that doesn't become an issue. Great run again.

oh pretty shoes… I hate knee braces tho. I don't know how people wear them. They bother me more than the injury whenever I have tried them.

OK cold is progressing like a cold. Difficult to sleep lying down because well sinus she explode …🙃😳

GOing to keep my streak I think those as it was SUCH a gorgeous cool morning after the storms yesterday that I felt much better outside than in.

@karina3 Welcome! Most keep a running total for the month and/or year at the top with varying amts of detail to follow.

@steviebee888 Welcome back and kudos on the race! An anniversary race sounds like a good year to target.

    Welcome @karina3

Typically on MFP in the "Challenges" category of the forums we have one post for the whole month. (This is the May post)

Log into MFP, go to the community forums, then look in the Challenges area, then scroll down to this Monthly Running Challenge thread. We keep it going for the month. Put your goals for the month, at the end of the month you report how you did.

I hope to see you around.

I hope you start feeling better quickly @SummerSkier !

@Scott6255 I'm glad that you got to get outside to run. I hope the knee continues to behave.

Glad to have you back @steviebee888 . Happy Birthday.

    Doing great @daria0919 .

Welcome @karina3 . To update, I copy and paste my last post to a new one and then add the next workout. Repeat the next day. (So, yes. A new post.)

You are doing great so far @Mari33a . I hope your son gets a proper diagnosis and it's an easy fix too.

@Laurz9191 You have put in the training! Have a super day and look forward to hearing about your PR!

Looks like a nice run @angf0679 . Cool about the deer.

@martaindale I love that you and your hubby go for evening walks together! Good luck on your HM in a couple of weeks.

    1 May - Walked 1.25 miles - Ran 0.00 miles - Treadmill - Gym 58m07s - Doubles tennis 2h23m22s
    2 May - Walked 0.75 miles - Ran 2.75 miles - Treadmill
    3 May - Walked 0.75 miles - Ran 3.00 miles - Treadmill

    8.50/80.00 mile goal

I overcame my mental and physical tiredness and did a wun on the treadmill this morning. I did a run/walk of 2/1 and 1/1 min at 4.5 - 6.2/4.0 mph and ended with 7 mph (for the last tenth or so). It wasn't too bad. Avg pace was 12:36 min/mile. Avg HR was 124 with a max of 152 bpm.

    Morning all

    Got in 5.5M at 10'07.

@Laurz9191 good luck with HM today!

@SummerSkier hope cold/flu is getting better.

@Scott6255 how's your knee now? Do you ice daily?

@Mari33a haha! ... Hoping for good news for your lad! 🤞🏽

    @ContraryMaryMary beautiful pics!

@karina3 welcome! ... Good luck training for your marathon! This is a solid place to check in! A fair amount of us have at least 1 marathon under our belts. @Laurz9191 is the one racking up the numbers amongst us, while @AlphaHowls runs one every other wednesday haha.

@tarun_yadavA hahaha,, you mean @AlphaHowls usually runs one DAILY!!!!!

My cold is still colding but I think staying in my head and no fever. I hate taking Day and Nite quil but it's the only way to get any sleep. And trying to sleep lying down is hard as my sinus fill up and I get a headache. But I am grateful it is just a cold. I look back and see last I was sick was June 2023 with a cold but that one had a sore throat also and I did not try to run thru it. I think the worse part of being is sick is that when you feel that "tickle" you just know you are in for several weeks of stuff. crud etc.. Luckily I was stocked up on kleenex.

    thanks for asking!

Good luck tomorrow @Laurz9191 I am sure you are going to get a PB… You have been spot on with training.

@quilteryoyo good on you for getting out there in spite of the mental thing. I believe aside from illness and injury that is the 2nd toughest part of running.

I managed a 5 miler yesterday. It was BEAUTIFUL weather and today also. Cool and crisp and it actually helped clear my head up some. I was reading on dr google that colds are actually contagious as long as you are symptomatic so I guess if I feel well enough to go to work tomorrow i will be masking up.

The weather this morning is also bright and clear and brisk which is amazing for May!! I will take it.

Fantastic run @ContraryMaryMary ! That looks like a great place for a fun run.

    Nice run @tarun_yadavA .

@SummerSkier I'm glad that you are having great running weather. I usually find that cool weather clears my nose too, esp. when I step back into warmer conditions and it all starts to flow. 🤣 Great running and I hope you feel better soon.

    Great shoe porn @tarun_yadavA.

    Welcome @karina3!

Hope you had a great HM today @Laurz9191.

Love the deer pic @angf0679, hoping I get to see some on my runs this year once I start running in the early morning to beat the heat.

    Good stuff pushing through @quilteryoyo.

Beautiful pics @ContraryMaryMary looks like a great run spot!

I meant to cheer on the runners this morning as they were starting the Toronto Marathon, they run the first 3km through my neighbourhood, but unusually for me, slept in.
At least my insomnia finally is over👍️
