Exactly Lanette, and then I click back on the notice to delete it.

I shouldn't have to change anything to avoid having to deal with these bots, creeps, whatever they are. I come here for support and assistance. It's all about algorithms. And FB doesn't have nearly the issues that MFP does. You can make your friends page private (only me) and take care of the issues over there. Cloners don't bother with you after that.

I don't get too many here, maybe because I never figured out how to post a picture ;)
BUT I get, almost daily, requests to join our group page for our high school on Facebook. 90% are "digital creators" and have joined FB in the last 6 months or less.
Annoying to get the notification, hoping it is an old friend, and seeing it is some unknown person.
WHY would they want to join our page- it is just for the reunion.

my mom is also a "feet first" member. She plans on staying on the property and even after she is gone, she will be on the property. She wants to be buried on the property next to my dad, her sister, brother in law, two nephews, sisters fiance and two dogs. Yep- all are buried under the crab apple tree. She has even picked out the "urn" she wants to be put in- it is a Noah's Ark piggy bank- Dad was put in one of the bird houses that he built himself-that was the suggesting from the sweet people at the mortuary who knew my dad. They could have sold her a nice expensive urn but mom loved their suggestion.

This is a big reason I hope we don't have to sell the place after she is gone.
Both of my sisters can't wait to sell the place. My younger sister actually asked for her inheritance early(this was quite a few years ago, long before my dad passed away)
My older sister mentioned to a friend that the property was worth way more than it actually is, like almost 10times the real value- and she was expecting her third.

I want to keep the property- Neither want it or have the means to pay the taxes/etc on it.

Carol - Could you write down a few memories? Even the most ordinary things become interesting with the passing of time. I'm sure your grandchildren would be grateful in the future.

I did a little bit more to my cupboard before breakfast, and just have the doors to put on.

I did my writing, but couldn't remember the name of the local pub we used to go to in my early twenties in London. After a few tries, AI came to the rescue! It's strange how memories flood back. That pub is shut down now, so I couldn't find it on a map, but I did see another one that sparked an important memory. I would never have remembered its name from 1974. A wave of nostalgia.

    Friend Settings.

Go to the section of MFP where you log your food, exercise, etc.

    Click on Settings.

Click on Change Email Address / Email Preferences

    image.png

Scroll down on the Change Email Address / Email Preferences page and make sure that the Let my friends find me box does not have a "tick".

You can also place a "tick" in the Unsubscribe box if you don't want to receive any email notifications.

Regarding Notifications … when you click the little bell, you'll see a Notifications dropdown. But to the right of the word "Notifications" is a hamburger button (3 bar button). Click it.

    image.png

You'll be taken to the Notification Preferences page where you can pick what you want to be notified about.

Regarding Profile Photos … Go to My Home, click on Profile, click on Edit Photos. Add or delete your photos. I wouldn't recommend anything feminine.

Machka - I don’t know how you keep up that pace everyday. I have to have downtime throughout the week or I suffer.

Tracey — what do you do in your downtime?

That question is open to any of you. 😊

I take brief periods of downtime:

    • 15 minutes before bed to read (a bit more on weekends)
    • a few minutes here or there to colour
    • longer sleep on Saturdays & Sundays

And in some ways the exercise I do is "downtime".

    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

    Tuesday

    Walked about 3.8 km

    Climbed 33 flights of stairs

Swam for about 40 min … and it's coming together!!! For the first time my free style is coming together!!!

Also worked, got fuel, and will do some work for my cycling club in a minute.
