Oh, @Scott6255, so very sorry to hear of your fall! I hope with frequent icing, rest and elevation it’ll recover quickly. Please keep us posted on how you’re doing.

Happy Birthday @SummerSkier! Hope it was a nice one! Love the photo of you and kitty!

I ran 4.75M at 13'30 out at the beach. The plan called for a 1:04 "long run"

    It's breezy 69°F (21°C) with blue skies.

@kgirlhart I've found with Garmin Coach plans, if you select a certain coach for a certain distance, say Galloway for a 10k, it tends not to follow the specified days of running and long run days. Probably because those coaches have their own ideas of when should a long run be etc. I gave up on those. What I did was to set a custom plan, didn't choose a coach. In Garmin calendar, set a goal/time/effort event goal with distance, date, time, specify all the workout days, rest days and long days and it's pretty much followed my specs. I can see up to a week, by midweek, I can also see some of next week's scheduled training. It gives you phases like base, build, peak, taper etc. Its been really good at following specified days and adjusting the training, like I had a small race for the weekend and it planned a taper for that. Just don't wear the watch to sleep, if you have a 955 or higher as it tends to be motherly with changing the planned training event if you have a crappy night's sleep. The below is my plan for the week and will probably end up around 50ks for the week at my tortoise pace…

@yirara I wonder what Garmin would say about a kilometer of hiking through deep mud? It looks like a great adventure. Thank you for the pictures.
