    10/28-183.4 ✅ (Trend Weight – 184.1) Well I am going to start this round with as much positivity as I can muster because I’ve been feeling pretty stagnant going up and down the same ladder within the 180’s. So I am focusing on the fact that I have lost 13 pounds since the round ending April 10th, 2025 (Round 292) according to my tracking in my spoiler. I have firmly and securely planted myself in the 180’s which I so desperately wanted to do back then. I stayed in the 190’s for so very long and I am promising myself that I will not stay in the 180’s nearly as long (mostly years!) I always keep my promises to others. The question is….Can and will I keep my promise to myself? Good luck everyone this round and thank you all for the inspiration.

    🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃 10/29-184.6 ❌ (Trend Weight: 184.1) I did wonderfully until the snack monsters came out at 3:00 am. When I stay up too late there are just that many more hours to eat! I weigh Exactly what I weighed one week ago on Wednesday. No progress whatsoever. I am happy, though, that I’ve completed a major project at home that I’d been facing for the better part of a week so maybe I can refocus on myself and my goals. Contractor is dragging his feet though. He’s had to skip several days due to emergency calls from other homeowners so I’ve been put on the back burner. My kitchen, therefore, is still tore up and I’m feeling understanding but stressed nonetheless. I must remind myself that eating a large meal or the wrong foods changes nothing (except the scale in a negative way). Today are haircuts for son and DGS. Dinner out afterward so I will have to plan wisely. I have only done structured exercise once in the last 5 or 6 days so I really need to fit it in. Sometimes it’s hard to fit that in and my 3 chapters I am reading per day for my book club. I do get physically tired (and lazy?) at night and just want my television sometimes while I’m in a prone position.

    @majork29 cute Shadow! I was doing enough exercise to make my deficit work, but it wasn't sustainable. Like I could see myself doing it for a few months, but after that? who knows?

    @motheroftwins95 ah nice. I wonder if they have twins?

    @jrago47 I'm trying to imagine what walking or rolling over in bed would feel like if I lost another 30kg! I remember losing 15 and feeling so light on my feet! I've got a rucking pack to carry more weight when I go on walks, so it's like I'm still 15kg heavier, to make walking a bit more challenging.

    @deepwoodslady I like the crossing out of emojis. Very neat!

    10/28: DNW—My scale battery died and of course it wasn’t a normal battery. I’ll be up and running tomorrow.

    10/29: 175.5 📉🤯So what this means is…I lost weight on vacation!!! I guess I’m not surprised, since we were getting so much activity and the food wasn’t agreeing with me. It’s kind of a shock, because that is not what used to happen on vacation. 🤣I got to start tap class up again and that felt great! I’m so happy to be back with my regular food. I mean, vacation is fun and all, but there’s no place like home. 👠👠🌈

    64 year old female, 5’5”. I am married, semi-nomadic (we live in three states, Mass, Maine, Florida). 
    SW WW Sept 29, 2001 - 168.8 (initially lost 29.8, became staff, then up and down 18 years with low of 126.8)
    SW MFP Sept 14, 2020  – 153 (lost 40, then stress loss of 2.2 lb with low of 120.8, then stress gain)
    SW MFP Jan 1, 2023  – 146.6

    GW Maintaining between 124 – 126 

    SW: 129.8

    10/28 – 129.2 Yesterday was actually good! Yay! Calories were actually around 200 under, but I have eaten so much lately, I have a few extra calories stored on me. I don’t plan to do this repeatedly, but good to see no spin out yesterday. Let’s get through today!

     

    I am going to make a point of doing the coffee thing in the morning and making sure I catch up on all your posts. When I am not, it is an indicator of where my head is all. 

    (haha, this year I remembered to update my about me instead of months later!!)

    10/29 – 130.0 Ok, payback for cuddling grandchildren when DD warns me they both have colds. Sore throat and body aches, which make me want to EAT……

    @pezhed I in the early 80's, I remember heading to Chapel Hill, NC (I was in Durham) to midnight showings of Rocky Horror, and I remember thinking it was the best thing ever. I tried watching it with my kids 15-20 years ago, and I think it needs to be watched with the right group (and maybe a couple drinks). Sadly, was not as I remembered. :P Congrats on the new job! Scary but exciting!

    @Jane022896 I have read the scale wrong many times!! I swap all the numbers!

    @deepwoodslady I hope you can recognize all that you have accomplished. Looks at all the "strike outs" decorating the bottom of your posts. And, 13 lb since April. It's inspiring!

    🎷 67 yrs young F, 5ft 4 Round 313 (my 243rd).

    Goals for every round;

    • First and foremost, no feeding frenzies – I am not a shark or even a piranha!
    • to weigh less at the end of the round than the start
    • be happy because I feel that I have made the round count at the end
    • to have a totally 10-day binge free round.
    • Would like to lose a pound round.

    I need to remain consistent - it does work! Good luck for success everyone.

    Achieved goal weigh of 125lb in summer 2016 by losing 66lb and then gradually gained between 7 and 11 since then & didn't want to gain any more, it’s taken me 75 rounds to achieve target of 130 = back to maintenance!! But then I crept up again, so need to get back to around 135. A healthy lifestyle must be a permanent way of life.

    10/27 140.6 – (trend 141.4) More or less knew yesterday’s number would not stick, but still happy, last weight in previous round was 144, so that’s a loss of 3.4 pounds. I know that previous weight was inflated due to a bad few days, but still happy. No structured exercise; met up with DS & family at Sudbury Children’s House, enjoyed the time with DGDs.

    10/28 140.6 – (trend 141.3) 8.77 miles walked.

    10/29 140 – (trend 141.2) met up with group of DSs & FF, went for a carvery: we were all very restrained in portion control. 6.44 miles walked before meeting up.

    10/30 141.8 – (trend 141.2) woops, chocolate jumped into my mouth!! No structured walking – drove up to fetch 7 year old DGS, he is staying with us overnight whilst his younger brother is in hospital for a routine procedure.

    10/30 Weight:100.5kg My weight has jumped up about a kilo since the last time I weighed myself, I was below 100kg and very excited about it.

    Today was rough. I found out that my dad still has cancer and needs to join a clinical trial. He may only have six months to live, we will see. I went to the doctors, then had a birthday starbucks (free upgrade), then I made my family weight watchers enchiladas without padding it out with grated carrot, spinach and beans. I went out to collect my pills and got my dad some sushi because it's the first time he's been allowed it since he got diagnosed, and my sister brought me an m&m mcflurry. I forgot it was late night at the mall. I spent most of my evening at the mall and driving around. I didn't get many steps in today because I slept in until about 11am.

    10/28—155.8 Stuck inside with construction workers yesterday and lots of rain, so no exercise to speak of. Had a fundraising dinner at an Italian restaurant in the evening for Maryville Christian School where my granddaughter goes. It was 9:00 when we got home from that. Did well managing food yesterday in the face of all that and held steady. River is hoping for a good walk sometime today!
    10/29–156 I’ve got to up my exercise level today no matter what the weather does. Construction project is finished so I am hoping to be able to go to the gym.

    @anxietyfairy So sorry to hear about your dad. I have a friend who had a heart attack which caused his metastasized cancer to be found. He was given 6 months, but they did put him on a trial, which went well. Then transferred to a second, which also went well. It is currently 7+ years later and he is doing well. I hope the same for your dad.

    10/28 – 194.4/ 4,036/19– no change today. I was thinking I would have a gain so I’m happy. Finally feeling better. Not many steps yesterday. My goal for this round is to get my step count up. I have become very sedentary again. Need more movement. Not much sleep last night watching the Blue Jays game till the bitter end. I’m feeling sorry for the fans on the east coast.

    10/29 - 194.6/4,877/6 - a slight bump up but expected. Had a busy day yesterday. Happy that both the Blue Jays and Oiler's won last night.

    10/30 - 194.8/5,924/26 - not liking this trend of upward movement on my weight. But I did add some more steps to my day yesterday. I ended up working the Spooktacular event for a second time (it's a fundraiser my office runs for a local foodbank).

    10/30: not worried about a .2 fluctuation, I know I was OK yesterday- I'm always OK on weekdays. It's the weekends that are harder to manage- Mondays are like Groundhog Day, right back where I started the week before. I need to really stick within my calories on the weekend, so I'm committed to logging this weekend. No excuses, nothing "special" going on.

    I'm going aim for loss calories M-F and maintenance on S-S. For me, maintenance is between 1450-1550 calories a day. No wonder it's so hard to keep the weight off. *Sigh

    10/29-184.6 ❌ (Trend Weight: 184.1) I did wonderfully until the snack monsters came out at 3:00 am. When I stay up too late there are just that many more hours to eat! I weigh Exactly what I weighed one week ago on Wednesday. No progress whatsoever. I am happy, though, that I’ve completed a major project at home that I’d been facing for the better part of a week so maybe I can refocus on myself and my goals. Contractor is dragging his feet though. He’s had to skip several days due to emergency calls from other homeowners so I’ve been put on the back burner. My kitchen, therefore, is still tore up and I’m feeling understanding but stressed nonetheless. I must remind myself that eating a large meal or the wrong foods changes nothing (except the scale in a negative way). Today are haircuts for son and DGS. Dinner out afterward so I will have to plan wisely. I have only done structured exercise once in the last 5 or 6 days so I really need to fit it in. Sometimes it’s hard to fit that in and my 3 chapters I am reading per day for my book club. I do get physically tired (and lazy?) at night and just want my television sometimes while I’m in a prone position.

    🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃 10/30-DNW ↔️ (Trend Weight: DNW) Absolutely ZERO interest in weighing after the dinner out yesterday with DS, DGS and one of my DD’s tagging along. I finally broke open the Halloween candy later to make special bags for all my DGC tomorrow. Enough for everyone including me. I should have bought less but it was buy 2 get 1 Free on the bags. But it really isn’t Free, is it? Foodie DD and DGS arrive today until Monday night this week. From the frying pan into the fire? Ugh…..

    @SModa61 sadly Rocky Horror sold out so I don’t get to go after all 😕 I only saw it once in college and was looking forward to experiencing it again in a less academic environment. Maybe next year!

Trying to also get my life together because I decided to move forward with the job. My start date is November 10. I feel kind of mixed about it but the extra income will help us. I feel slightly paralyzed this morning but it’s time to get a move on!

    10/30 - 129.6 🚫 Gah, cannot seem to motivate to track again. Probably because I keep eating treats and junk that I do not need and should not be eating. I know that I’m not going to be able to get even into the mid-120s if I can’t start tracking again. I hate doing it but if experience had taught me anything, it’s how necessary it is. So far I’ve tracked everything today. Just need to keep going. 

    Got my workout in this morning and went to the doctor for my annual check up. Got my flu shot so mentally preparing to be tired tomorrow for trick or treating. My doctor pointed out that I’m down 5 pounds from my check up last year, which would be pleasing except that I know I was even lower in January - 123.8 according to MFP. Hope to be there again soon!

    @anxietyfairy ~ Welcome, you can start on any day…. and I 100% agree that 10 days is perfect. 7 days is problematic because you're always starting and "stopping" (to measure) on the same day….with a cycling 10 days its different days. And yes…the ability to put 10 days behind us and move on vs waiting to start in a new month. I see that many have answered but I'll leave my 2cents as well :) Happy Birthday to you! I know a bit bitter sweet learning about your dad's health. I am so sorry to hear the prognosis but, know, they don't know everything!
