I weighed in at 188.4 this morning. Altho I am incommuacado at the time, I am hoping I wont be this way forever. Just dealing with a lot of stuff and trying very hard not to completely withdraw from everything. I tend to turn inward. So, keep me in your thoughts and prayers (as I do you) and dont drop me from the group!!
peace out, elizabeth

Marianne, sent my weight to you a little earlier..
Everyone seems to have done very well with the scale this week. I for one did not.
I gained back the 1.3 lbs. I know it is not from eating too many calories. i am sure i need to drink more
water. I just can't get enough in.. And I gotta step up the exercise. Next week will be better.
Lori, Hope your dad's tests results are all good and he goes home soon. Elizabeth, you need to take care of yourself and know that we will all be here whenever you need us. Red, love the baby's pic. he is adorable.
back to work.. :grumble:

Happy Friday Bella girls!
Hope all had a good weigh in. I am up 1.2, but the way I am feeling, I could tell it wasn't going to be a good week.
Lori, I hope your dad is recuperating and they find the cause of the chest pain.
Elizabeth, we are here when you want to come out and play. I get the same way. Keep up the good work on the weight loss
Marianne great weight loss this week! And thanks for doing the charts.
Dodie, keep up the good work, hope you had a god week
Denise, you are a treadmill maniac, rock on ma ma! Nice work on the weight loss.
Ev, great job on the weight loss, hope your aches are gone.
Red, great job on the weight loss and the exercise also! Keep it up.
Karen, we must have been on the same wavelength this week, both up 1.2. I know we will have a better week this week.
I haven't commented much this week, but have been reading the posts mostly before I go to work. I am feeling overwhelmed this week, and just not normal. Could have something to do with the higher dose of thyroid drugs, and from being taken off my allergy meds. This time of the year is the worst for me. I need to get my head out of my butt and get back on the treadmill and that will help make me feel better. Our neighborhood is full of walkers every day and night, I shouldn't be so anti social and go join someone.
Well I need to do a few things around the house. Have a great night all

Good job everyone!
I’ve included last week’s weigh-in as the starting point for this challenge. The total loss is for this challenge.

Doesn't MFP know 5 weeks is TOO long to wait for 223?????
But it sure is nice to finally see the number on my diary!0 -
Great job Sistas. We are all still here and working at this. Which is an accomplishment for at least me. I could have given up today completely. I almost dumped the account. But I took a long walk instead. Then I came home, took a long hot bath and was going to start dinner. Then my phone rang again. More bad news and I lost it. I told Ken I needed to get out of the house and I refused to answer my phone the rest of the night.
Tonight I am back. I will be be here and I will keep trucking along. I won't burden you all with the details. Just know that things here are tough and I don't seem to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
I know I am not the only one having a rough time and I am here for you all as well. I realize that this group is what is keeping me sane lately. I thank you all for that. You give me something to look forward to each day.
I won't be around much at all this weekend. I have family obligations to take care of. But I will be watching and supporting you all from behind the scenes.
Good Luck with this journey and enjoy the weekend.
D0 -
We're here for you Denise, enough said!!!I'm very glad you didn't dump it!! Lori, hope your dad is getting better by the minute. Marianne, you are amazing and deep. You always have the right words for us. The chart is great, thanks.Have a good weeekend, enjoy the fall weather, and walk!!!!0
-
To everyone - please do not give up on yourelves just yet. There are many personal struggles happening lately and I fear those struggles will take a hold and become the catalyst to fall back on the very things that brought us to MFP. Please, if things are just too overwhelming, just breathe. Don't lose yourself in whatever struggle you're dealing with. Rise above it all.
It has been very quiet here the last few weeks. Which is really too bad. This is a good place. Maybe the newness of the group is wearing off, I don't know. For me personally, I will continue to fight this monster until the last pound is gone. I am determined. They don't call me a pitbull at work for nothing! Once I sink my teeth into something, it's hard to unlock and let go.
So all, I hope your days are filled with accomplishment. Good luck on your journey wherever it takes you.0 -
GOOD MORNING SISTA BELLAS!!
I am here, but I am leaving for the day. Campground Halloween fun today. I have my pumpkin shirt on and I am ready to go. I just hope I don't have a nervous breakdown between now and then. LOL I won't be back til late tonight.
Everyone have a super fantastic day. Don't eat too much, but if you do make sure you burn it off. I plan on it!! Pedometer is ready to go. I am expecting a good walk today around the campground...I see candy in my future.
Marianne, I am here and I plan on being here for a really long time. I will be stalking you too, so look out.
Denise0 -
Morning Sistas,
Denise have a great time at the Halloween Campground thingy.. I too am taking off for the day. Spending the day
with my Mom at Tampa Stadium.. The event is called "whatever women want". Fashion shows, massages, mani pedi's,
If any of you watch Young & Restless?? Daniel Goddard who plays "Cane" will also be there. Some other celebs, and music. I am sure we will have fun. Not sure what kind of food to expect.
The event is from 10-5 so I will be eating there, unless we get bored.
Marianne, I am going to stick this out as well. I know I don't get on here as often as some of you, but I am here, sometimes I just read what is going on with everyone else. Don't always post. I have 30 more lbs to lose and I can't do it by myself..
Hope everyone has a great day. I will check in when I get back..
Karen0 -
 Hi girls Karen, your day sounds great, you will have a great time, do it all ,woman!!!! Denise, my crysal balls says there is candy in your future, but none will cling to your hips, butt, thighs, arms, you WILL burn it off!!!!!!! Enjot this beautiful day, can't wait to hear about it. Marianne,I have to stay here, this is home, so, I will be going no where. The newness hasn't worn off for me,but, the demons do keep sneaking back in, and sometimes I think it;s better to say nothing than to always be complaining, and I know this is the one and only place I can do that!!!! It's just hard to believe that there are people who actually care and don't cover their ears when I start whining, altho, I guess you could be covering your eyes!!!:glasses: At any rate, you have me!!!!!! Have we officially lost any girls? Magda? You could always add a couple if you know them real well, we don't want any crazy's!!!!!:noway: hahahahahah Have a good day, I will check back later.0
-
I hope you all had a great day, can't wait to hear from Denise!!!!!! I would have loved doing that with you!!!! where the hell is everyone, having fun
I hope!!!0 -
I hope you all had a great day, can't wait to hear from Denise!!!!!! I would have loved doing that with you!!!! where the hell is everyone, having fun
I hope!!!
You could have done it for me...I was in shock for most of it. Soooo many kids. And up so close and in my personal space. I told Ken I pretty much kept my head down and put the candy in their bags, buckets, pillow cases and even little hands. I wanted to yell at them to back up and give me room, but I didn't. Oh that was one long hour and a half. And they had so much candy for me to give away that I never ran out. I was kind of hoping I would so I could go hide.
I didn't do as much walking around today as I would have liked. And of course I had to eat some candy, but I think I did really good overall. I will try to log it, but not sure I can. :blushing:
Tomorrow will be spent at the funeral home but I am hoping Ken and I can get a ride in on the bike. He put 300 miles on it today and I had to put up with a million kids. Somehow that doesn't seem fair.:noway:
I don't know where everyone is, but I hope they are having a good time.
Denise0 -
Ok, where the heck is everyone?? I am all alone and need a sista or two! Someone has to be out there somewhere.
Guess not, no one is answering my calls! Guess Ken and I will head out on the bike for the day...after a quick stop at the funeral home. Man, I hate funerals.
Everybody, if you hear me...have a beautiful Sunday. It is absolutely gorgeous here in Northern Ohio! And we all know this isn't going to last, so enjoy it while you can!
Denise0 -
Good Morning everyone!
Denise enjoy that ride.... hope it's a stress reliever for you! My thoughts are with you and your family and another funeral. So much, take care of yourself! :flowerforyou:
We're heading to the city then airport later Probably another late night including dinner out with her BFFL so that's fun.
Hope you all are enjoying your Sunday!0 -
Hey Denise, here I am!!!!!!:ohwell: I was outside raking leaves and some fall clean up. What a great day for a ride, hope you and Ken can fit it in your day. I'm glad you got thru the day yesterday, and now it's just a beautiful memory!!!!hahahahaha I was all alone on here yesterday,I guess everyone was enjoying the weekend, that's a good thing. We are going camping Wed. thru Sunday, then that's it!! Evelyn, you party girl, always having fun, what is that like???????lol Karen, was your Saturday as nice as it sounded like it was going to be?? Where is Marianne, Dodie,Kim, Elizabeth, come out and talk to us!!!! Ok, I will go back out and rake some more leaves, we are building a bonfire later!!!! Who's bringing the marshmellows????0
-
Hey everyone,
Just checking in, I see we are all busy on this dreadful rainy day here in Florida. Hope the weather is nicer where everyone else is.
My day with my mom was great. There was booth after booth of prize giveaways and free samples. We got to meet one of our favorite Young & Restless actors and took pics. The line for the mini massage was 1 1/2 hour long so we opted to leave early and have dinner at Red Lobster.. Dinner was great. I did really good with the Stuffed Flounder, broccoli and salad, but I could not resist the Cheddar Bay Biscuits. I couldn't just stop at one I had two.. So I am trying to do much better today. If the rain ever stops I will get some walking in this afternoon.
I put up pics on my FB page, if you would like to see them.
Gonna get back to doing laundry, don't know where it all comes from.
Hope you are all having a great day
Karen0 -
Karen, your day sounds great. I'm not on Facebook, but I like Cain, was he awesome??? Those cheddar biscuits are out of this world!!!! It's beautiful here in Pa, georgeous, leaves falling, sun shining.I guess everyone is out enjoying:drinker:0

Hey!
We've been up north closing down the camper for the last few days! Cleaning, packing food (fridge & cupboards) & clothes, electronics, the list goes on and on. Whew...lots of work. Plus, Steve's brother & SIL were there which made it more tiring. SIL is nonstop talk...man oh man i'm worn out just from listening to her for 3 days. And they like their cocktails which make her repeat all the stories from the day before. UGH...just plain worn out. Got home late last night (7PM). Too whooped to do anything but log my food. Today, we were up early, unloaded the truck, trailor & Jeep of up north stuff then headed to my sister's house for a birthday open house. Just got home and ready to call it a day.
And yes, it's been absolutely beautiful the last 4 days here in Minnesota!!!! It's so nice.0 -
If I could bottle my afternoon up I would and save it for about the middle of January. It is amazing out and we rode for hours. I did have to put my jacket on for the ride home but that wasn't even enough to worry about. It felt great just to get away and have some time with a couple of other bikes. No drama and no worries. Now I am going to crash.
Only bad thing is we stopped at Hooters for lunch and they really don't have a way to figure out their nitrition for what I had, so I used the one from Applebee's. Ken and I ordered their mini-burgers and split them. Now I have calories left and I am not even hungry for dinner. Maybe some fruit or something...nothing major that's for sure.
Karen, I am sorry to hear you are having such nasty rainy weather. All my FL friends are complaining about it. Unfortunately for us up North here, we are headed into winter so we are all appreciating this great weather we are having and sending the nasty stuff to you. In another week you will be back to sunshine and I don't even want to think about what we will be having. Sorry but we have to share the crap with you, but I was taught to share.
Marianne, sorry your SIL is a chatter box. I know how tiring that can be. Just relax now and enjoy the rest of your weekend.
Peggi, you have fun with those leaves...thank goodness we only have one tree in our yard that actually does any major shedding of leaves. I would bring you marshmallows for that bonfire, but since I stopped buying them I only have minature ones in my house. I really don't think those would be too good for roasting.
Tomorrow Ken has the day off (banker's holiday) and we are hoping to get some more riding in. I will keep you all posted. Have a great evening and whatever you do tomorrow, make it a good one!!

Oh and I forgot to ask my question for today.....
I friended someone a while back but their obsessive replies to all the threads is starting to get to be too much on my page. I really don't talk to them other than to comment every few days to their food diary. Their comments on the threads is to usually just post some link to something or other that the people are talking about..and most of the time, it isn't helpful.
Now the question...how do I handle this? Do I just let them keep rambling on threads and clog my page, or would it be really bad to unfriend them? I don't even know their real name.0 -
I promise.... I didn't fall off the face of the Earth!
Howdy Bellas!
I still feel like I am two days behind, but slowly getting back to normal. Both girls, son-in-law and my parents were here for dinner. Dad seems to be doing okay for now. The situation did upset Mom pretty badly. It's hard to explain. The situation would unnerve anyone, but when you are dealing with someone who has mental difficulties, it just takes a lot more energy and patience. I am becoming more in tune with not pushing myself past my limits; acknowledging my need for a break, need for sleep, need for a good meal etc.
Peggy - Sounds like you had some quality time with Caden (such a sweetie). Good luck on the last camp out for the year.
Karen - love your celebrity photos on your facebook page. Sorry the weather was a bummer. Glad you had a nice day with your mom and sounds like you did great at Red Lobster. Still cheering you on for the Curves Contest.
Evelyn - How's that sweet daughter of yours? Love the guru update -- thx. Heat flashes seem to have subsided since my cycle completed. But, good info to ponder as far as emotional association. And, I agree with Marianne also on the sugar component. Sugar and caffeine are equal contributors for me.
Denise - so glad you survived the camping/trick or treat adventure. You are a brave woman! I am sure the bike ride was a much much welcome break. Sorry to hear for yet another loss for your family.
Kim - sounds like you have a lot going on with work demands, etc. Kudos to you for the great choices in food and exercise.
Elizabeth - Take the break you need and then COME BACK TO US.
Marianne - So glad you will be able to stay in touch while at the wedding!!!! I am looking forward to photos. Sounds like you worked a lot this weekend closing up. Points to you for not duct taping anyone for some peace and quiet.
I have all my normal classes this week and possibly an additional class Tuesday evening. College daughter is home until Tuesday afternoon. She is very happy I was able to schedule her for a massage tomorrow afternoon.
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday evening, Bellas. Wishing us all a very prosperous week of healthy eating and exercise. Scale count down to Turkey Day!
