6.30pm on day 2 - getting into that dangerous time zone. Between now and sleep is when I always find it difficult - opportunity may knock, but temptation seems to lean on the doorbell!0
-
I made it through day 1! Yeah yeyeah! Tomorrow will be more of a challenge though, because we have such yummy desserts etc. I might have to tape my mouth or have a coworker smack me back to reality! hahaha!0
-
Hell yah count me in, im addicted to junk food, so this will be so instreating to see how it turns out.0
-
OH I need this! I have been eating way too much junk on my days off (especially since I am a huge football fan) and Sunday's are just SO hard for me to not eat fries/wings/beer! I am really close to my goal and wanting to see more definition without losing much more weight and I want to eat better!!
I can work out all the time but as far as nutrition goes OH i suck at it!0 -
I'm in! I am sick of eating crap. I know better!! Thanks for the inspiration.0
-
I did this today, but binged at night and didnt even log it.
I think I'm still going to allow myself a treat or two per day, so that doesnt happen again!0 -
Today is 2/21 for me.
I had a good day yesterday until late last night, when I overate on some stuff NOT on this list. So I'm still following the challenge, but feel pretty crappy about my overeating. :ohwell:
I need to take this one day at a time, and I'm giving myself a clean slate today!
Day two no junk is going very well so far!0 -
Monday 5 down.... coming down sick, only junk I had was a Vit C drop before bed.0
-
I'm in. As far as peanut butter goes, I'm allergic, so I spread Almond butter on wheat toast or an a wheat English muffin.0
-
Day 1 done. I had no problems until bedtime when I started to feel deprived about not being able to have junk for a whole month. What is up with that?!? Its not like I won't be able to have it for the rest of my life!0
-
day 2 - doing ok so far! lots of fruit and veg!
:flowerforyou:0 -
So I totally forgot about this and had a donut yesterday
So I guess today will be day 1 for me! I'm not too far behind!

I'm doing ok so far today, but it's only 10:30, lol.0
-
Water check!!! How much water have you gotten in so far today?
Me.... epic fail. Two diet sodas and no water yet. Time to fill up my first liter!0 -
Day 2 - so far so good. I was offered a homemade brownie at work, I'm new & didn't want to seem rude, but I wrapped it up and I'll take it home to my husband instead. I haven't had my daily "Monster Energy Drink" either. Yesterday I did great, but mostly because I wasn't feeling well.0
-
Well I didn't have any sugar today but I did have some air popped popcorn tonight. I hope that didn't blow it for me.0
-
Made it through 2 days of no junk food, though last night I was dying from Oreo Cravings!!!! I did have a Tall Starbucks Mocha Lite Frappachino for lunch today... only 100 calories! I hope I can keep this up for the next 19 days.0
-
How are you replacing your favorite junk foods?
Me, I'm replacing:
sweets with fruits
Sodas with lite mocha frappachinos
and when I really need a fix, yogurt, you know, the kind that taste like cheesecake, boston cream pie, and real cinnamon rolls? (haven't had to revert to this yet)0 -
Day two is done for me, and it went tons better than yesterday. There is still room for improvement, but I think it's because my body is in sugar-detox!
I'm replacing chips with airpopped popcorn (whoever asked about this, in my opinion this is NOT a junk food) and Wasa crackers with salsa. I'm replacing all sweets with fruit.
I can't think of any other replacements, those are my top two... Oh yeah, I replaced JIF peanut butter with natural almond butter.0 -
Well, I did okay yesterday until about 11 p.m. when I binged on Oatmeal cookies (4 - 5) and Hershey kisses (4). Planning to go to bed earlier tonite so as to not repeat that!0
-
Today is day 3/21 for me, and I'm pretty confident that it's going to be a good day!
My late-night-sugar cravings were already better by last night, and I'm hoping that they will be even better tonight!0 -
My favorite dessert replacement is cottage cheese with grapes and a few walnuts. Or natural apple sauce and some pineapple. When I am eating clean, it is as good as ice cream!0
-
Tues was a No- go for me I'm at 5/21.
jlemoore I love cottage cheese and fruit also.
Here's to healthy choices today for everyone :drinker:0 -
I am at day 4 and last night sugar cravings were really bad. Made two baked apples (2 apples sliced, sprayed with cooking spray, and topped with spenda, 2 unpacked tsps of brown sugar, cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg). Totally did the job and I got 2 fruit servings in. Sticking to fruit for my sweet fix so far, which is helping me through.
Good to know about popcorn. I might have some tonight.0 -
Minor slip last night and ate 1.5 muesli bars. Not too worried as I a still up to day 4 without chocolate which is my real focus.0
-
Day 2 argh it is hard but I feel better~!0
-
Everyone doing okay today? So far, my day 3 is pretty good.
I did have some carb/sugar cravings at lunch, and ate too much wheat bread... but I'm over it, and am moving on!0 -
Day 3 going well! I'm not even doing too badly craving wise but I know it's coming since it will be my TOM very soon. That will be hard. I want to eat sweet and carby so it will be a challenge!0
-
day 3 for me.. so far it's been MUCH easier than i thought.. been eating lots of fruit and veggies.. and weirdly haven't been giving much thought to food.
gonna go have some frozen mango for dessert YUMM!
oh and yesterday i put cinnamon in my low fat vanilla yogurt and it was like cinnamon bun icing without the bad stuff.. seriously you must try!0 -
First 2 days for me were "ok" - made it through. HOWEVER, day 3 was a bust! A friend @ work just came back from a trip to Florida and brought back a big box of saltwater taffy. Before I could catch myself, I had already eaten 4 of them! Grrrrrr! Tomorrow, I start again.0
