    Week 9: Heather

    Challenge Starting Weight: 200

    Current Weight: ? 190

    Difference: -10

    Christmas Goal Weight: 169

    Aprox Minutes of Exercise: 30+ min x 4 -5 days

    Highs of last week: I was able to manage a few yoga poses that I have not been able to do up until now. Felt good both mentally and physically. Also, I measured myself again and discovered that I have lost almost 3 inches all around.

    Lows of last week: Kind of got off track mentally. I wasn't motivated to workout as I had been and I was less conscious of my food.

    How to Improve (the lows): Stop eating crap and workout more! I think I'm back on track!

    Tips or Tricks: VEGGIES! VEGGIES! VEGGIES! WATER! WATER! WATER! Get off my butt!!!!

    Ultimate Goal: To wear a size 8 Current size: 16 (my 16's are getting lose)

    Current weight: 312.9

    Highs of last week: worked out everyday!!!!

    Lows of last week: Didn't eat that great, made some funky choices on food.

    Ways to improve the lows: Make sure fruits and veggies are always on hand, choose healthier snacks....WATER WATER WATER~~~~~

    Ultimate goal: To get rid of my back fat and to have a flat stomach.

    Christmas goal: To be in a size 18 by Christmas!!!

    Approx Minutes of Exercise: 500 minutes.
    Highs of last week: I bought size 14 pants - that was like elementary school size for me! Woo Hoo!
    Lows of last week: Ate out too much again! I know this is bad, why do I keep doing this - hectic schedules - grrr...
    How to Improve (the lows): Hide the money so I can't eat out!
    Tips or Tricks: Force myself to do at least 1 workout a day, even if only 15 minutes.

    i missed week 8, i'm terrible! but here goes...i can't remember last week's weight either. also, posting on Tuesday rather than Monday. epic fail.



    WEEK NINE: CHANI

    Challenge Starting Weight: 286
    Current Weight: 272.2!!
    Difference: -14.4
    Christmas Goal Weight: 160#
    Current Size: 22/24...more like a 23. it's weird.
    Goal Size: 12
    Aprox Minutes of Weekly Exercise: according to MFP, 416. i can't even convert that to hours, my brain hurts.

    Highs of last week: actually EXERCISED. i am feeling better.

    Lows of last week: too much eating out.

    How to Improve (the lows): cook more at home, i will save money and know exactly what i am putting in my mouth! if i do go out, check the menu beforehand if possible.

    Tricks: Keep your eye on the prize! AND using the recipe builder thing on MFP. it's a great tool.


    in other news, i've booked my plane tickets home for Christmas!!! i have not been home for Christmas since 2009!!! i am so excited, and i get to see my brand new niece!!! ahhh so many exclamation points!!

    Lows of last week: Didn't exercise everyday as I would have liked to

    Tips and tricks: Make sure to get in 8 glasses of water and stay in your calorie range

    Highs of last week: Did really well with my eating and saw a loss!

    Lows of last week: Didn't exercise as much as I should have -- and had a bad day of eating Sunday :( Darn football games

    Tips and tricks: Drink more water! Drink more water!

    We are getting so close to Christmas already!!!

    Does anyone have a mini goal to hit by Thanksgiving?

    Lows of last week: skipped swim practice Wed AND Fri - just couldn't get up that early for some reason

    I think by Thanksgiving I want to be at 139. So 5 lbs by November 24... then only 4 to go until Christmas. I can do it! I can do it! LOL

    Tips or Tricks: Aim for my 10,000 steps a day, maybe the couple days under were not helpful...

    DIFFERENCE: -14 (overall)
    CHRISTMAS GOAL WEIGHT: 170 (modified it to make it more obtainable)
    CURRENT SIZE: 14
    GOAL: 7-9
    APROX MINUTES OF WEEKLY EXERCISE: 300ish
    HIGHS OF LAST WEEK: finally feel truly back on track. feel like i rocked it out this week and didnt give in to temptations and it resulted in me losing 4 pounds this week!!! soooo close to being out of the 190's! Next week!! :bigsmile:
    LOWS OF LAST WEEK: probably could have exercised a bit more instead of craping out in the evening and chosing to watch tv instead. but other than that I think i did pretty good this past week. not gonna beat myself up!
    HOW TO IMPROVE (THE LOWS): Keep picturing how great I am going to look and feel at the end of all this. 8 weeks is really not that long. gotta just deal with not watching as much tv! ha. crunch time!

    I am not sure if i have a number goal to hit by thanksgiving. But my husband and I are going to NYC on the 13-15 of November. So I am just trying to get to the best spot that I can by then. That is my next little deadline date. Then its straight pushing myself until christmas!!! gotta hit that 170 goal!!

    Still losing, total of 15 pounds down, dont want to drop out of challenge because it is very motivating for me, not sure Im going to get to 126 from 149 today by christmas but am ok with that, Ive already lost 15 pounds during this challenge and if I lose 15 more I will be pleased because 126 isnt my final goal anyway, and to be honest 15 pounds for this challenge period would not disapoint me. I am smaller than I was in the summer when I visited family and theyll be impressed when I come for Christmas regardless.

    Highs of last week: the fact that I didn't gain anything on my week of slacking! And I went jean shopping and I've gone down two sizes since I started all this!
